What are some good jumping/rotating exercises for figure skating?
I've been skating for 3 years and have just started working on a salchow with my coach. I'm a clockwise skater, and have been able to get about 3/4 way around, but seem to lack that extra "oompf" to get the full rotation. I know that I really need to work on this both off and on ice, but can use some tips on accomplishing this.
Thanks!

A salchow is basically a waltz jump with a three turn entry so you only need a half rotation. I've never see anyone have problems getting the rotation unless they're not doing the take off right. Timing is very important and it's something that you need your coach to help you with. Rotational exercises won't help at this point because you don't pull in on a single salchow. You can always work on leg strength but in reality you don't need anymore height than a bunny hop to complete the jump.

I am assuming that you are talking about a double salchow? With practice you will get more comfortable with the jump, and therefore jump higher and rotate faster.
You can work on building leg strength so you can jump higher and with more power. This way you have more time to rotate in the air. For rotation you should try pulling in faster and tighter so you can rotate faster.
If you keep working on it, you are sure to get it and be able to do it! :)
