I asked God to give my son his sight back but have not been answered.?
Am I being too pushy or should I just be patient and not ask again?

Stop praying and accept the fact that you son has lost his sight, and praying to a god that doesn't exist isn't going to help the situation

God is the alpha and the omega, Life is God's work! God took your sons sight so to question God is Blasphemy! How dare you question Gods ways! How dare you be unsatisfied with God's work!
As the Bible says " I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. " God did this to your son, who else could it have been?
Thus, the question you should really be asking is, "Why, the ****, did you take away my sons sight God?"
If you want to understand why your son has lost his sight, read a couple of pages of the book I'm linking in the source, it will open your eyes.

Exodus 4:11
The Lord said to him, “Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord?
Exodus 4:10-12 (in Context) Exodus 4 (Whole Chapter) Other Translations
Isaiah 35
Strengthen the feeble hands,
steady the knees that give way;
4 say to those with fearful hearts,
“Be strong, do not fear;
your God will come,
he will come with vengeance;
with divine retribution
he will come to save you.”
5 Then will the eyes of the blind be opened
and the ears of the deaf unstopped.
6 Then will the lame leap like a deer,
and the mute tongue shout for joy.
Water will gush forth in the wilderness
and streams in the desert.
7 The burning sand will become a pool,
the thirsty ground bubbling springs.
In the haunts where jackals once lay,
grass and reeds and papyrus will grow.

These are not exact quotes, more of a gist.
Pray as if you already Recieved- Jesus Christ
Pray in my name and everything you you shall receive- Jesus Christ
You must first believe that God will, without a shadow of a doubt, heal your son. Your son must believe equally or if he is too young to understand of unable to understand due to medical complications, then your belief will suffice.
Your prayer should be composed similar to this:
Thank you God, for healing and restoring my son's sight. Thank you for his complete wholeness. I (your pick:claim, declare, thank you) in the name of Christ Jesus these things I have prayed for. Amen( which means: so it shall absolutely be).
There must be no doubt. Write out a declaration of his being healed, affirm it in your mind, draw a picture of him reading or seeing again. Build a mental picture of his seeing and his health and eyesight being perfect. These are steps to affirm and build your believing and force your mind to allow God to work. When the time of revelation comes and it is the appropriate time for his healing it will come in a flash!
Using these techniques, I have seen people healed miraculously by the time they drive to the doctor's after being hurt, or healing supernaturally fast. My brother in law, had a fellowship member who literally mangled his fingers! The man raised his hand towards the sky, bowed his head and said "thanks pappy", and because he believed so much, his hand was immediately healed before he could look at it again, and continued his work he was doing!
Your mind is the key to God's action, believe and open the doorways to his power in your life.

God did answer. He said no. Just because He's not some sort of magician, you are offended? God answers to no one for His actions. We forget that because its such a prevelant action on earth amongst ourselves. He has His reasons. Sometimes we really don't like the answer, but there it is.

It depends who is your God. Christians pray to God the Father in Jesus name. Healing is not always instantaneously, sometimes we have to wait and then again sometimes it just doesn't happen. One thing is certain that Jesus helps us in our afflictions so regardless of the answer He will give us direction. You can ask God many times for many things but always remember to thank Him for what you and your son do have.

If your god will not do anything, see a doctor, they will.
Just remember to thank the Doctor, because God didn't lead you to the doc, an atheist did.

Don't feel bad if your son's condition doesn't improve immediately. If it can't be treated medically, don't let that get you down. But most importantly, if prayer doesn't work don't kick yourself for it. You can't count on prayer, if you could EVERYONE'S prayers would be answered.
