Why is racism so strong in America?

Racism is prevalent around the globe. It is more publicized in the USA. American blacks think they were the only people on earth to suffer through a period of slavery but they were enslaved for only a couple hundred years. Slavery was widespread in Europe long before Columbus discovered America. Israel was in bondage to Egypt for 400 years. Asia has known slavery for thousands of years. Slavery in China was a way of life. It lasted thousands of years and the conditions were much much worst than that endured by black slaves in America.

Every race on the planet was enslaved to someone else at some time but a certain race in America is the only group still whining about it. Instead of moving ahead, they wallow in self pity and perpetuate the myth that they are still mistreated, even after countless free government programs, free education, free housing, free government assistance & welfare, and laws passed in their behalf. Racism exists in America because certain minorities WANT IT TO EXIST. How else can they continue to get free money and stuff from white working class Americans.

Right now it is popular to blame whites for every racial injustice, yet I have found them to be the least racist of any group. I have noticed a pattern in one particularly loud race in dealings in the public sector. Almost every time I have had contact with a member of that race, they seem to somehow mention their color within the first few sentences. This is not normal. White folks do not have to say "I'm white" to everyone they meet. It is obvious. Why is it necessary to always mention color for this other race? Listen and see if I am right. You will notice it too. The more a race dwells on their differences, the more they strengthen the differences and promote racism.

Only in America is racism to popularly condemned as wrong. Any world traveler will tell you racism is prevalent worldwide. In some cultures, it is not only accepted but promoted. It is not considered wrong at all. Japan is like that. So is Iran, Saudi Arabia, China, Korea, Nigeria, Pakistan, India, and many many more countries, kingdoms, and cultures. I am an Asian girl who travels the globe extensively. Sometimes I'm on the top and sometimes I'm on the bottom. It all depends on my location and the culture there. I've experience hateful racism in Mexico, yet they expect to be treated well in the states. Don't get me started on African nations and peoples.

The most hateful people in America today are those condemning racism. Their hearts are full of hate, as you have experience first hand. If they could, they would kill you, just because you are white and some white guy mistreated slaves 300 years ago.

It's against the law to discriminate people because of their race,gender,sexuality,religion,and handicap in the workplace.Contact your local Human Resource office if you think any of the above is keeping you from getting a certain job at a certain place.Within our country others sees us as a P.O.S. because they too were discriminated against (most likely their whole life and in your case) because of their skin color or origin.Just like when an American sees a Muslim person,they think of 9/11 or them being a suicidalist.Which is not true for all Muslims,but instead of seperating the good from the bad,they just group them together and just say they are all bad.So much for the American dream. =/

Basically, white liberals need racism to get democrats elected. They tell black people all their problems are the white mans fault. Then black people vote democrat on the promise of help that never comes. And If a black person is a conservative then white liberal racism comes out in full force.

White liberals= Most vile racists the planet has ever known.

Liberals promote it every day, now they are promoting something called white privilege, which makes other races feel like they can say mean and hateful things to white people. Their is no such thing as white privilege any more, but the liberal media will report on any news item that has white on black crime but now when it comes to black on white crime, when a couple of reporters were attacked by some black teenagers they were told to shut up and not report it, and the authorities did not pursue the case until Bill O Riley got involved, the blacks were not arrested until 3 weeks later.

Nope. Barrack Obama is a prime example. He actually has a chance of winning the elections. That alone proves that Black racism is almost, or nearly abolished.

don't play the "poor me" story, you white people have been oppressing other race for centuries. This is the start since the caucasian population is lowering while the Latinos are soaring. It's only a matter of time for you white people to be called the minority and the majority (Latinos) will oppress you. I think we have all heard of the term Karma, and I am not saying that anyone deserve to be oppress, but that's just the way that karma works.

It's bad here in Britain too, not the white people being racist though but the black people. Their are more black people in my school in London then white and they all form in black groups and bully all the white kids, don't want to be friends with any, and accuse white teachers for being racist when they misbehave and are shouted at, same with students. So many times in our school, black people have been bulling white kids, but the black people are let to because there parents just accuse the school of being racist to the police along with the fact that nobody is racist to the black people, it's pretty disturbing. I remember walking in the dinner hall and feeling dizzy and I accidentally crashed into this black girl who caused the incident after shoving me and my food went flying on myself and then she told the teacher That i shoved her and she shouted I'm going to kill you, and then I got detention for racism even though it was because of the girls parents complaining after making me even more in trouble,

A lot of black peopl here in London form in big chav groups and steal and rob and the other day one of the black guys spat on me as I walked past and I started running and he chased me right to my house.

I respect all the black people who aren't like this but I'm afraid all the ones I know in my school are like this except when I was a child, I had loads of black friends and I fancied loads of black boys and I thought all were beautiful but now from what I see of them now is disapointment.

segregration isn't too far back in the past if you really think about it.. once more races start living together in communities peacefully it should go away in time I would hope.. but their are just scums in every race that use race to show their ignorance.. but black people as a whole need to step up and stop the violence in their communities first.. the drugs and gangs are keeping them back

The 0bama administration has gone to great lengths to create new levels of class and race warfare .

I guess the Libs know if we are busy fighting amongst ourselves we are less likely to notice them robbing every one of us .

People just have hatred for others.... They just think their better than others. Or it was just the way they grew up. Like their mother father or anyone they lived with or was around was very racist.
