Assassins creed 3 insert disc 2?

You have to change the disc, the other half of the gameplay's on it so you have no choice, the other disc just simply does not have the data.

Don't worry though, you WILL be able to play the game, you're simply doing a minor thing wrong.

When the game says change to D2 it means right there and then, you DO NOT go back to the main menu and get the other disc out. It says insert D1 when you do that because you hadn't advanced to where D2 started, you were technically at the moment before that. Because of this you count as still being on D1 so the game can't/won't load up that part of the game with D2.

Don't worry about it, plenty of people make the same mistake and I thought I was going to break my console when I opened up the tray. It won't, the game will have saved and you move onto the next bit.
