Theists, what do you have to say about the 8 Marines who just died?

They died in a training accident. So what, did god just plan for their lives to be ended in a brief instant by a faulty round of ammunition? One of them was a PFC, which means he had barely even been a Marine for 2 minutes when his life abruptly came to an end.

Bad things happen sometimes. That was one of them. Most theistic religions are built around dealing with the fact that bad things happen, not denying it.

And PFC is not the lowest rank in the Marines. A PFC (Private First Class, or E-2) outranks a Private (E-1).

your right god screwed them over a bit luckily he has an eternity to make it up to them. Lifes not all about the here and now. Not to mention you are clay in the potters hand what right do you have to question to potter he will make you whatever he wants for whatever purpose he wants

I don't see "God" in any of that, do you?

Well, I don't think God made those rounds of ammunition, did He? No, a human did. It wasn't His fault, and it wasn't those eight Marines' fault, either.
