I have a question about ovulation and pregnancy.?
I never understood ovulation when it was taught back in school! If you have unprotected sex on March 16th and you ovulate March 17th-22nd, will you experience first week pregnancy symptoms between the 17th and 22nd? So if you were to take an emergency contraception pill, would it suffice the 5 day limit? Also (kind of unrelated but just curious) if a man were to not use a condom while touching the females genitals (not going inside, not ejaculating) could pregnancy occur from pre-ejaculation touching the woman?

Ovulation is the release of a mature egg cell from one of your ovaries. It happens in a second, so there is only one ovulation day in your cycle, but you may get pregnant from having sex a few days before ovulation, because sperm cells can survive inside your body for up to five days. After ovulation, the egg cell only lives for about 24 hours, and if it isn't feritilized within that delay it dies and you can no longer get pregnant in that cycle.
Pregnancy symptoms will only appear after a fertilized egg has implanted in your uterus, which happens between 6 to 12 days after ovulation. So if you ovulated on the 17th, the earliest time you might experience pregnancy symptoms would be the 23rd (and most likely much later).
Some emergency pills can be taken up to 3 days after unprotected sex, others can be taken up to 5 days later.
It is extremely unlikely that you should get pregnant if the man isn't ejaculating inside you, so I wouldn't worry about that.
