Blood pressure: normally it doesn't affect it but when someone is having an asthma attack the blood pressure tends to rise as the body is under stress and a lot of patients panic during asthma attacks which causes the blood pressure to rise.

Pulse rate: normally again asthma doesn't affect this but when someone is having an asthma attack the pulse rate rises as the body's reactions are speeded up and the heart is having to get the oxygen round the body quicker.

Breathing rate: this can be normal a lot of the time but for some asthmatics, particularly those affected with panic disorders such as vocal cord dysfunction the breathing rate is increased all the time. During an asthma attack a paitent takes more breaths than normal per minute due to a number of factors such as panic and also the inability to breathe properly.

Peak flow: paitents with asthma tend to have a lower than average peak flow than people without asthma as the peak flow measures how well the air is moving within your lungs and in asthma paitents the air doesn't move as well as in a person without asthma. During a flare up of symptoms a persons peak flow decreases, traffic light colours are used: green is 80%-100% which is when symptoms are under control Amber is 79%-51% where there is increased imflation in the lungs which is a warning symptom for asthma Red is 50% and under which is classed as a medical emergency. These are values which are taken from your normal peak flow.

Body temperature: asthma isn't normally a factor affecting this unless you have an infection which therefore increases the body temperature to try and fight it off.

obviously you don't get this question as exam boards use very little grammar and pronouns. on a serious note, when you suffer from asthma your respiration rate can differ some people with asthma breathe very frequently and inhale more are than required, some asthmatics breathe very infrequently and don't get enough oxygen that can prevent or reduce medical experts to create an average respiration rate for asthmatics meaning it is hard to get a measurement. when observing the respiratory system it is usually easy however if the person is using medications or is suffering from a chest infection the results may differ meaning when you calculate the mean average the results may be very inaccurate for example 6RPM or 80RPM these type of results are only common when observing the persons respiratory system for a long period of time or even throughout the day in some cases. however their are many different implications when measuring and recording the respiratory system of an asthmatic but the one i have mentioned is common.
