Eternal Fellowship, It is not something a Non-believer has the ability to comprehend though, they are as lost as a ball in high weeds.

The purpose of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever. We glorify God by fearing and obeying Him, keeping our eyes on our future home in heaven, and knowing Him intimately. We enjoy God by following His purpose for our lives, which enables us to experience true and lasting joy—the abundant life that He desires for us.

Some people believe that in order for something to exist, some intelligent being (god) needs to create it. Their main reason is that lifeforms are very complex and can't come into existence by chance.

But that leads to other questions.

Where does this god exist? Which universe?

    Where are the other gods?

Isn't this god complex as well?

Why doesn't this god break down?

    How does it function?

    Who designed his brain?

How much data can his brain hold?

How does he just know everything?

You don't believe in chance but you believe that by some chance this ultra complex thing called god exists?

Acceptance of a supernatural claim tends to promote cooperative social relationships. This communication demonstrates a willingness to accept, without skepticism, the influence of the speaker in a way similar to a child's acceptance of the influence of a parent. By encouraging this kind of behavior where the most intense social relationships occur it facilitates the lack of skepticism and deters more open minded thinking.

They are christian, Muslim or the other religions depending where they were born simply because they were indoctrinated by their parents as very young children. They will go on to indoctrinate their own children and those will go on to indoctrinate their grandchildren!

Atheists have the intellect to see through the conditioning and escape into the real world!

Agnostics have the intellect to see through the conditioning but lack the courage to throw of the conditioning entirely.

Sadly Christians, muslims and others are still held firmly prisoner by the self perpetuating brainwashing!

The purpose is that believing in god gives people justification for not taking responsibility for their actions.

    People are afraid of death.

Instead, they cling desperately to the belief that they won't really die if they just obey whatever commands from their god(s) that are all laid out for them. In exchange for this blind obedience, they have the promise of eternal life up there among the clouds somewhere.

Really, none of us really *knows* what happens when we die. Many believe they know--but that's all it is: belief.

I live a good life. Every day I make sure my loved ones know I love them and try to be good to others as our paths cross. I live my life for now, today, and don't put it off for a tomorrow that may well be, in fact, only a story for those who need it to get through their days.

If you don't believe in God, why would someone be so concerned for a purpose? If there's not a Creator, existence just wasn't Given one, it just is. If all existence was not Given to a purpose, neither do I have to give you one for my beliefs. If you have a problem with that, than maybe believing in God has a purpose in believing in purpose.

Throw all churches and religions to the side and look at God for what he really is a spiritual entity that created all of us and that is all one needs to pray to, not a church a religion or clergy because all they want is your money. All God asks for is some praise and that is all free it's a simple task thanking him for your life nothing more.

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the lord our God Amen.

GOD is real. GOD is our savoir. Don't you normally thank people when they do something nice? Well GOD died for us, and we are living for him. He deserves the respect from us to share him with others, and tell them of his good acts. GOD does exist. You have to believe. You can feel and see signs and you know he is there. He overall helps you just feel better about yourself and he comforts you when you need somebody. He is your best friend.. you father.. who art in heaven. If you believe in him and share his good word, and listen to what he has to say while doing good things that would make him happy, you will go to heaven and live your after life with him. I personally, after I die, want to be with nobody else but GOD. He is my savoir, my best friend, my father, and the person I can always count on when I need help or just to feel comforted. I can't imagine my life without GOD and I know he will never leave me. GOD loves you no matter what, and always remember that.

There is no purpose, it is an impulse that comes form the fear of hell and stupidity of faith (not thinking).
