How long does it take for Facebook to verify a photo ID?
A couple weeks ago Facebook asked me to send them a photo ID because I either had some fake information on my profile or I had violate the terms. I didn't read carefully and sent them just a picture. They replied to me within four days and said I needed to submit a government ID with my birth date, full name and address. So two weeks ago now I submitted my ID and still have not heard anything from them.
Any idea on how long it usually takes?

Actually I did not get scammed. I am not the only person that has had this happen to. I have done my research to make sure that it wasn't a scam. The only thing I can't find is how long it takes them to get back to somebody. Instagram has also been doing this to their account holders. Both websites are doing to ensure that the people in the profiles are the actual people and that they are of age to have an account.

you got scammed, facebook would never ask for that info. check your credit report.

Im having the same problem, I sent in my ID and they still have not reactivated my account. I only had my middle name on my FB as I didnt want my real last name shown for privacy reasons and apparently FB randomly decided that this was an issue. I have sent in my ID but I am still waiting... ARGH! Clearly FBook does not care about its users.
