Is land likely to go down in value in future?

Thinking about buying a few acres. Is it a good investment at the moment or is it likely to go down in value. I just want it to keep horses on I'm not trying to make money just don't want to lose it. Any advice would be appreciated.

It's unlikely to go down in value. However the value does depend on the use for the land.

If you have been approached by a stranger by email or a cold call telling you that you can buy land now and sell it at a profit for building later then it's a scam. The land either does not exist or is land which is a swamp or some other way unsuitable for building.

impossible question to answer 100%. Personnally i think prices of property/lane will remain flat for at least a year or two, if it goes down then then i dont beleive it will go down much. in the long term values should increase,in the meantime you have the pleasure of keeping horses.

Now is probably a better time to buy land as prices are lower. But i am no expert.
