What would be some good ideas for my history project based on this info?
I have a major project for history class due in May and I can't think of anything to do it on.
Basically I can do the project on ANYTHING between the middle ages, and present day. However, this can NOT be US history (it can be from anywhere else in the world).
Also, the project format is like an art project.
It can only be 10% pre fabrication, so I have to make/sculpt/build basically everything myself.
It can be a building, person, place, thing, absolutely anything in history under these circumstances.
I'm not too great in the art field, so I'm trying to refrain from doing any sort of intricate architecture or anything of the like. The simpler, the better!
Thank you!

You could do a collage featuring the architecture of the time period, Castles, Cathedrals (Renaissance cathedrals were made from stone because much of Europe had burned up its forests for fuel) Parliament buildings, mausoleums (the Taj Mahal is a monument to love) and so forth. Add 'headline' type blurbs to signify the historic significance of certain places like the palace of Versailles (peace treaty) and the site of 'ground zero' in Hiroshima (http://www.ratestogo.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2... Although it's not a building, the Nazis took target practice on the Sphinx and many other historic sites. Lots of pics out there;

You could pick a battle you find interesting and set it up. Just buy some model magic, sticks, whatever other material you need, and sculpt some soldiers, find the battle maps and build some of the major features there (buildings, hills etc) on some cardboard or light plywood.
Source(s): I built the battle of Hanover in like, 6th grade in a few days. I also made a very large, 3D model of all of China that took me about 3 months. I'm not a very technical person and I still found it pretty easy. - 8 years ago
You could do a trifold (buy @ any Walmart) and cover the major world religions (Christianity, Islam, Judsiam, Hinduism, Buddism) , give examples of important symbols, where the religion began, who are the dominant figures of each. All this can be found in any WOrld History text book.
