I have major hair problems, please help!?
Okay, first I'll lay out what's wrong.
My hair is damaged, really really bad. I've thinned it too much and you can see through it at my neck, and it isn't thickening.I wash, dry, and straighten it every night, without heat protectant. (I know, totally bad, but I'm going to stop). My hair is oily a lot. When I run my hands through it when it's damp, pieces fall out. I heard diet has something to do with this, and I don't eat good at all.
HELP. I want my hair thick and healthy again. Starting yesterday, I'm using Moroccan Argan Oil. My hair stylist recommended i use prenatal vitamins, which I'm getting tomorrow. I'm also going to change my diet.
I'm just really scared. Will my hair ever be healthy again? Or am I hopeless? I just feel like when I go out in public, I look like I have a disease and I hate it. I regret mistreating my hair, and if I can get it to be healthy again, I will NEVER mistreat it again.
Do you have tips or advice?? Please help!!! I'm really scared :'(
I also have really bad split ends, and haven't had a hair cut in many months...

I am a hair professor and I have excactly the treatment you want ! :)
Firstly Cut ALL the split ends . You can do it on your own but better go to a saloon or to a hair dresser.
Then I have many things to tell you . Its very good to use moroccan argan oil as you already do ! Now it will be reallllly good if you take biotin suppliements . They help 1) hair growth 2) hair strength 3) hair thickness so its excactly what you need .
Never brush or even comb your hair while it still be super wet . Make it firstly at least dump- dry and then comb or brush.
Make homemade deep conditioners and use them daily . Leave them on your hair for hours.
You should change your diet VERY MUCH . I guess that you dont eat much. But the key to healthy and wealthy hair and a nice body it to eat enough but with healthy food . You can check many diets in internet :)
You should trim your hair . I do not agree that you should cut your hair every 6 weeks as many hair stylist tell. But at least once in 3 months you should really trim it .
Your hair will be perfect really fastly .Stop using heat tools even with heat protectants . HOPE IT HELPS :))

I put a lot of advice on my website and is recommend you to subscribe since getting healthy hair takes a while. Beautywithbunny.com
The hair that is already damaged cannot be repaired so it's best to just cut that off. Drink lots of water. Shampoo it only once a week because shampoo is harsh and cleanse it with conditioner the other days. USE A HEAT PROTECTOR ! only flat iron it once or twice a week using a lower heat setting. I recommend coconut oil over any other oil because it has produced the best results for my clients. It's okay to get your hair thinned just make sure it's by a professional who knows what they're doing.

Your stylist is correct with what she told you to do. Folic acid is a main ingredient in prenatal vitamins. There are many regular food items that are rich in folic acid. Some of such food items are cooked dried beans, peas, lentils, spinach, asparagus, romaine lettuce, beets, broccoli, corn, peas, tomato juice, vegetable juice cocktail, Brussels sprouts, orange juice, canned pineapple juice, cantaloupe, melon, hemp, soybean, honeydew, potato, canned grapefruit juice, bananas, raspberries, lean meat, grapefruit, strawberries, whole wheat flour, coffee beans, enriched grain pasta, whole grain breads, whole grain bread, peanut butter, sunflower seeds, milk, soya items and nut products especially walnuts. Including these food itmes in your diet will surely make your hair grow faster. Also Argan oil is wonderful for your hair. Use a drop everyday and rub through your hair. Let your hair dry naturally and if you MUST straighten your hair then use a heat protecter product before hand. Healthy hair grows at 0.5mm daily. So keep up with eating the right foods and not damaging your hair further with heat or colour and your hair will grow. :)

It's not good that you let your hair get this bad, but you'll be fine, if you use the products that you say you're going to, eventually your hair will get better. It may take some time, but it isn't damaged permanently, don't worry :)

First stop straightening your hair, it can damage it. Use the hair growing products, or get extensions(they'll make your hair thicker) If your hair is oily then you should stop using oil. Use Anti-Friz(even if you don't have frizzy hair its really good for it)
