What country do you live in? In most places you can't be arrested for being gay, however you can possibly be arrested for sexual activity. In many states it is illegal to have anal sex....I don't know that this law is often enforced, but it is on the law books. You can also be arrested for having sex in public. So really it just depends on where you are and what you are doing.

In the West, no. That would include the Americas and Europe. Some countries that follow Islam have sharia law (laws based on the religious text) and so arrest and/or execute homosexuals, and then there's Uganda that has been trying to criminalize homosexuality.

Probably not. It depends on what you do about it and where. In Iran, you can be hanged for a PDA with someone of the same gender. I don't think it's illegal anywhere just to be gay. How would anyone know?

When I was a kid in the 60's you could get arrested for being gay. So we've come a fair way - all the way to gay marriage. This might explain why the slack-jaw right wing is so pissedoff all the time.
