Is the catcher in the rye a good book report book & can girls read it?

It's a kind of "I hate growing up inauthentic" or "I hate losing my inner child" book. An interesting angle to note might be HC's relation with his sister, and maybe how it could have been rewritten.

I think it's a boring, overrated book that only permanenty juvenile males can get any enjoyment out of. I would pick a better book.

Excellent for both boys & girls.

Girls can read anything that strikes their interest :)
