Can you give me one word to name?
a term describing an organism without identifying it as a plant or fungus.
Like you can't tell if the specimen in question is a plant or fungus, what would you call it in one term.
I know the difference between fungi and plants, and even a bit about lichens.

There is not one word to describe the collective of fungus and plants. In fact, fungus are more like animals than like plants. Plants, animals and fungus are in different kingdoms within the same domain. See the reference.
