I have this program on my computer called Download Manager. Apparently I can't download anything without it because everytime I try downloading something it says "MyDownloader.App has stopped working...Windows is searching for solution." It never finds one, and I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but that didn't fix it. A lot of websites say I need to download something in order to fix it, but I can't download it.

Does anone know how to fix this or recommend anything to replace it?

Would it be better to live in a mad world of your creation or face the reality of what created your mad world and dive into a darker one?

What I am trying to say is, would you prefer to live in your own perception of reality, no matter how twisted it may be, then face the reality to understand what created your twisted perception knowing full well that it can only lead to darker images and perhaps utter insanity?

In the simplest way possible; Would you live in the darkness you created, or cleanse the darkness to make way for an even worse one?

I'm a man in his early forties, who has traveled a bit of distance in this world.

When I was little, I was taught to believe that the U.S. government was the best I could have, and it would be a honor to serve them. I trained everyday, hoping for the day I could serve my country.

I went to boot camp, and earned myself a good gun that represented my honor.

They gave me black leather boots, spit-shined so clean that they gleamed. They shaved off my hair, but I looked alright to me. I became friends with those I trained with, and we marched and we sang like it was noble to do this.

Then they sent me off to war, to be all that I could be.

On my first mission, I kicked down a family's door, and ordered them on the floor. We saw our man, a terrorist. I dragged him to his knees, catching the fear in his eyes, and wrapped a bag around his face. I bashed him with my Honor, and dragged him from the house as his wife and children cried.

They sprayed him with a fire house, enough that his skin became raw. I thought at first to stop them, but I was too new. So I did as I was ordered, and hit him like the others, no reason other than who he was.

My next field mission, we were fighting a group in the streets, when a woman came running at us. I ordered her to stop, and she did. My commander ordered me to shoot her, and I did. She fell to the ground, her white flag right beside her. I turned my gun and fired on at the enemy.

I was ordered to kill regardless of age, gender, condition, or alliance. Our mission was to search and destroy the enemy's will by killing indiscriminately. Children, men, women, and elderly. Even if they surrendered, our orders were to shoot and kill, and I began to not care.

After the war, I was given a Medal of Honor for how I served. The President called me a hero of war, and I could tell he was truly proud of me. I went back home, and they too were just so damn proud of me. I was happy at first, but then I grew sick with myself.

I was approached by a contracting company, and offered a job. I became a mercenary, a sellsword, a weapon of death to the highest bidder. I thought, if I could pick who I would kill, the drug lords and warmongers, it would make me fell absolved.

Now my employers, too, call me a hero of war, so proud of me now that I lead the most successful operations here. Beneath the bed in my provided room, I have a small box. Inside are my medals, and my Honor. I won't open that box again until I feel like I deserve them, and that box has been closed for ten years.

I carry a folded up flag, all fifty stars with thriteen stripes, because it reminds me of what I had hoped to be. I don't trust the government, the politicians or the president. But I still carry the flag because it is the only flag I love, and the only thing I trust.

Could you say you'd be proud of me? Would you say I should be proud of myself?

When you read what I've written, could you say I was a hero of war, because I have never felt like one. Even if I am beyond hope of ever having my honor back, I'll still carry that flag, into hell if I must.

Are we nearing the end? Is this our final years? I know it's a gloomy question, but you've seen what's going on, right? Are we in trouble, or do you see some light or hope in this ineffective government that will somehow pull us back toward a bit of grandeur, if even just a little?

At what speed can an airplane, if possible, flip a boat if it passes alongside it or just over it?

I have found that over the years, I attract signals: radio, television, wifi, cellphone, whatever.

Whenever a storm comes in and the satellite is out on the TV, I just have to stand next to it and it comes in clear, but goes out when I move away. No matter where I go, my cellphone always has at least two bars, and I've been to every state in the U.S., plus Ireland.

My computer, as long as I'm touching it, receives full WiFi bars, no matter the distance from my router (as long as I'm within range). Literally, I take my hands of the computer, and full bars drop to one, or the signal is even lost.

At school, when kids need a phone signal, enough of them know about this that they actually move near me to boost their signal.

I'm currently done in writing a book, and I'm wondering if anyone would find it interesting.

I am aiming to publish it.

Sorry if this is a bit unorganized. This is yahoo, so I'm not aiming for perfection.

In the year 2541 A.D., humanity has completely ruined the planet. Three factions existed in a cold war. The Allied Powers, Central Powers, and Brand Powers. The Central Powers (America) tried to create medicine created a mutagenic virus. A massive quake tore the laboratory apart, releasing it into the atmosphere. Things got so bad they had to abandon Earth for about 257 years, in which the virus changed the world greatly. Now there are hundreds of mutated, intelligent life forms who roam the planet. Humanity lands, and takes over. They force all these mutants into Asia, claiming the rest of the planet for themselves.

In 1148 P.C., there was the discovery of Zeta Radiation, which has the ability to distort reality in high amounts. It is a volatile, dangerous, useful, and powerful energy source that is in extremely hazardous in even untraceably low doses.

The current year in the novel is 2594 P.C. (Post Calamity). The previous year, 2593, is nothing more than pieces of lost memory to people. Everyone knows a World War occured, but the real facts are obscure. Most remember, however, that a 13 year old mecernary was responsible for ending the war. She, in the current year, set up a nation of mercenaries out in the Pacific.

By the way: There only a few factions left in he world

Vatican: holy soldiers

Spain: caught in a civil war

Conage: a weak, independant African nation

Nuba Nam: home to mercenaries

China: a off-Earth civilization

S.O.H.A.: a corporate company that owns most of the world.

Terrorist organizations

The Marines: they refused to buckle under the S.O.H.A., and now resist the whole world.

Karabs: stronger form of the Russian KGB.

Sin Spawn: a mysterious organization that no one really understands.

Through out the story, the main character (the 13 yr old girl) becomes a interest of Sin Spawn's leader. He sends various members of the organization to die by her hands so he could really grasp her ability. During this, she takes a mission into Conage that angers the whole government. Spain and China don't wat to deal with her, so they reject their treaties with Conage. The S.O.H.A. has a current "agreement" with the girl, and keep away. Vatican always wanted her dead and wait for the proper moment to strike. The Karabs become interest with the new nation, Nuba Nam and plan to test its mettle with them. The Marines had pass dealing with the main character, and want revenge.

So Nuba Nam is attacked by the Marines, Karabs, Vatican, Conage, and Sin Spawn.

They all start attacking each other, and it becomes a real bloody conflict. Nuba Nam manages to hold strong, keeping ground as the other armies tear each other apart.

The main character: she changes throughout the story.

On missions: serious, controlled, desensitive.

At Nuba Nam: playful, well-humored, kind.

When in a tough fight: dark, cold, foul humored.

Despite it all, she loves to manipulate and control others, enough to the point that some worship her as a messaih (she disapproves though). She does not run Nuba Nam. She hates politics and leaves such matters to her Lieutenant.

She isn't human, but of a race that mutated from humans (mutagenic virus). Because she isn't human, most believe she can't go to heaven, even if she has a soul. She shares no rights as humans do.

When she was younger, she was named heir to the military title of her father, and her elder brother view it as an outrage. He pursued her down to the lowest level of her family's estate. There she encountered the sourceof her family's power, a Zeta radiation construction that is tied into six seals where powerful (mortal) beings were contained. This construct fused with her, and with it she killed her brother.

At points in the novel, she sneaks out into the world for very "enthusiastic" walks, most of which end violently as she purposefully strolls into dangerous areas.

On these one walk she encounters a town being infected with a viral race (mutagenic race). She finds a police officer who is nearly dead, and offers the police officer life at a price. She infects the police officer with a different viral race, and the police officer is treated like a mere minion.

She encounters a robotic construction with split personalities who she enjoys messing with. Manipulating the personalities is fun for her.

She encounters another Zeta construct, who is very powerful, but an @$$hole.

And finally she encouners a superhero wannabe.

Throughout the story, they are manipulated into real soldiers who decimate many of the invading soldiers.
