Can you give me one word to name?
a term describing an organism without identifying it as a plant or fungus.
Like you can't tell if the specimen in question is a plant or fungus, what would you call it in one term.
I'm not looking for a fusion term of a fungus interacting with a photosynthetic partner (lichen).
I'm looking for a noun that describes something that could either be a plant or fungus.

Eukaryote
multicellular organism
getting into details that Fungi and Plants are kingdoms so kingdom plantae and kingdom fungi. If you cant categorize them into those then you would have to go one category broader which would be Domains. And for domains there is Domain Bacteria, Archae and eukaryote. Eukaryote is where fungi and the plants would fall under.
