If the Bible is proof that Christianity is correct, is a science textbook proof that evolution is also correct?

The proof is not the Bible, but lives that have been changed by it.

The bible does prove that Christianity exists but it is not proof that it is the truth, in fact there is very little factual proof in the bible, it is just a book written by men that believed in what they wrote starting four hundred years after the supposed death of a man named Jesus, some things can be verified, such as the wars that we know did happen but there is nothing spiritual that has ever been proven. Science on the other hand has a lot of proof that explains the theories that it presents, our knowledge is so much more than it was even one hundred years ago and these theories are now pretty much based on fact, evolution is in this category, we have the proof that we need to more or less prove without doubt that this theory is correct, we have fossils that confirm it, we even have the fossilised remains of human animals that existed three million years ago

Well, I am a Muslim and I am not here to defend bible, The questions seemed to me intresting so I just wanted to reply.

To proof bible or any other scripture that the related religion is correct, the book should fulfill many requirements, actually scince is one of the touchstones on which we can judge a religion if the religion is true or false.

We have our book Quran and like Christians, Muslims also believe that we were born from Adam & Eve and God created living things in pairs.

About Evolution, there is a biq question "IF"....if means if Science book says that evolution is a fact, then we can talk about it....No text book starts like "Fact of evolution" all would start it as only "theory of evolution": we will talk about it when Science would agree to it that Evolution is an established fact. Till now it is not. There are missing links and Darwin himself admits it and he does not back his own theory.

Nope! Where ALL of the History in the Bible has been confirmed facts, at least twice for all from history of Israel's neighboring countries, plus all the history in Israel; ALL of Bible has been proved Facts!

Plus over 86% of the predictions in the Bible have happened 100% correct! So far.

The big bang "theory" is only a "theory" with Zero proof to it! Can You state/prove where the first atom ever came from, to multiply into ALL there is now? Nope! How it became everything needed to make the big bang? Do you or science know how come or why a "Caterpillar can makes its cocoon, become a red jelly with no bones or anything else in it, then become a butterfly"? (God made it!)

Atheists challenged Believers of God to court and were accepted back in the 1930 and the Atheists LOST! GOD WON! The Atheists did Not have any proof. After they lost they went and made things up. Like their "ape to caveman" story. Using fossils from other, confirmed real, animals. They did not think they would have to prove it was true. But a few years ago they where required to show what they used, all was tested and discovered/proved to be Lies! That their fossils all belonged to other real, confirmed, animals!

IF the bible was proof then yes.

text books are more a guide to evidence than evidence in them selves. you don't fall to the ground because a text book says gravity pulls you down, a text book says gravity pulls you down because things fall.

as someone once said "it doesn't matter how good your theory is, if it doesn't agree with tests it's wrong"

the proof of evolution is most obvious in breeding. a dairy cow and a wild cow are very different animals, if evolution isn't a thing neither is a thorough bred

The Spiritual experience Christians have with God,

both past and present Christians, confirms the truth

of the recorded testimony in the Bible.

The experience of sane scientists who know all the

"missing links" are still missing, tells them that the

THEORY of Charles Darwin remains unproven .. and

there is no evidence that any animal, plant, reptile or

bird or fish (etc) has ever transformed enough for it to

cross the border of its own GENUS.

The present batch of evolution worshippers - who are

so smitten with the idea of descending from ape-like

ancestors and every other life-form back to amoebas

in primordial swamps - have decided to reassign the

meaning of "evolution" to claim the basic adaptation

of things within genera, which is only speciation.

One fanatic raved on to me about "ring-species" as

the Great White Hope to prove evolution .. and all it

showed was - that a bunch of salamander variations

that adapted to their surroundings or environments

were all still salamanders ... and same with a set of

seagull variations that adapted to their environments

are all still seagulls !! Nothing becomes a whole new

genus ... just speciation WITHIN the SAME GENUS.

So Darwin's theory has no evidence to this day. Any

"science" book saying otherwise is a fairytale comic.

I am a Christian and will tell you quite frankly that the Holy Bible does not prove that their is a God it assumes it right from the start and makes no attempt to prove.

Like many Christians I do not accept that the world was created in 6 days with one of rest. I also accept that if God had wanted to He could of. He just did not. Six stages if you wish each stage perfect in itself but not six days. What is important is the lessons taught in the Holy Bible which come in all sorts of ways. Nobody except Christ himself was perfect and the Old Testament heroes from Abram AND MOSES WERE CERTAINLY NOT n

That's a fairly decent proposition, and will probably stump some slower-witted believers. But most will just argue that the bible's been around for 2000 years, in the expectation that the antiquity of the book somehow gives it relevance. Which is really obvious, because just look at how much other iron-age knowledge we still employ today.

Scientific facts are all proved or are on going research based on facts otherwise planes spacecrafts phones tvs medicine surgery would have failed. Bible is abook of stories some really very childish eg God was afraid when the people of babylone started to build the tower and he came and confused their language; or breads falling from heaven and god asked the people to collect for them but not on sundays; or Jesus gave life to Lazarus who was dead since 4 days his body was decomposing etc are not true though they are in the bible.

No, that is a false syllogism. You can go out and check whether the textbook is correct, but this is not possible for the Bible.

No, the culmination of every science book written and all knowledge ever gained that's proof that Evolution is correct.
