Well, it's toast, kind of. It's working enough to get the computer started, but a broke and missing pin is usually a death sentence for any cpu. You may as well figure on replacing it before long. Now's a good time to consider an upgrade of the cpu if you have an inkling that's what you'd want to do. There are some great videos showing how to install the new cpu and "burn in" the thermal paste and new cpu. Here's a good example... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vLVHFaokdgA

I'm sorry you had bad luck. Sounds like it is toast if you broke a pin. What cpu is it? AMD or Intel ?

i think that bending the pins was a mistake and a very unfortunate one your lucky your pc still runs i dont think theirs much you can do apart from striaghtning the cpu back to original position ans and be lucky it still runs my friends cpu got bent badly and couldnt use it again

http://www.wikihow.com/Fix-Bent-Pins-on-a-CPU a good way to fix the cpu again

maybe do a system restore restore pc to previous state and see if you can get some speed back
