What should I do next? Girl problems....?

Hi,

OK so I have liked this girl for a few years, she unfortunately broke up with her bf.... anyway in about December I introduced her to a friend of mine, in the hope that nothing more than just friends would come out of it. We were getting along fine as we had been for the past few years and I thought I would leave it a few weeks before trying anything to get closer. Just as I was about to this 'friend' I introduced to her back in December starts hitting on her, I didn't think much of it until he became successful. They are so close now and I am now just a distant friend who she talks to everyday but its now just 1 word answers not like the flirty sentences they use to be. She spends alot of time with him (with him now) and never with me anymore.... she said I don't lead but I explained its because I was waiting for the right time. Anyway my question is what can I do to get her.. iygm? I can't believe the chance I got and now its nothing, do I ignore her or try and make a difference? Before we use to be fine but now she thinks I am suffocating her? What do I do? 

I really need some help she means the world to me! I would do anything so please help me on my quest...

Did you tell your friend that you liked this girl? 
Although you have waited years and I know how painful it can be seeing someone else with the person you like. But wait it out and speak to other girls to take your mind off of her, if she likes you, she will get jealous and try to speak to you again. You should play heard to get, girls like a challenge... But don't be horrible when she tries to speak to you! Believe me it works, I'm a girl and I have had it done to me!

if she thinks you're suffocating her, the give it about a week or so. You don't want to give it too much time, or she might get even stronger feelings for the other guy and think you've moved on. After about a week, try to have a normal conversation with her and talk to her for about another week as good friends. Call her to tell her goodnight or something sweet after a couple days of talking again. After talking to her for that week, try to take her out to dinner or something sweet. For example, do something shes interested in. If shes sporty, take her to a basketball court or golf or something. If she's romantic, take her to a movie, maybe a drive in. Something cute like that. Start slow, and maybe bring her flowers on your "date". Don't push anything, but start to give hints after a bit and flirt a little. Also try telling your friend that youve liked this girl for years. If this doesn't work, try dating other girls, and she'll see that you dont need her to be happy. hope I helped :)

okay with this situation it is very difficult to give her space since she is getting close to your friend but if she said  you suffocating her then just give her space, if she isn't dating him yet then you can still flirt with her but if she is trying to get with him then I'm sorry but you lost your window of opportunity. I mean you can tell her how you feel and then try and show better quality's then the Other guy but don't be forceful about it. ( if she isn't dating him ask her to go to the movies with you or some form of a date ) this has helped me in the past I hope it will do the same for you good luck man.
