How should I build this project?

How can I build this nicely without having to use wood or anything? Anything I could buy at an art store?
I was thinking that I buy some pre shaped styrofoam and make the shape of the building with that, and cover it all in clay (and paint on the details). Any other ideas? Thanks!

Do you need an actual physical model? If not why don't you make a 3D Model in 3DS Max, Maya or Blender ( just to name a few).
If you are in need of a an actual physical model, try card box. After joining the separate pieces with glue or tape you can apply a thin layer of kitchen paper towels (or similar) to give it a nice smooth finish. After that the only thing left is a detailed paint job.
Hope this helps :)

The only thing with clay and styrofoam is that often the clay has a tendency to get hairline fractures or crack altogether. It could work though.
Another options is juice cartons http://www.google.ca/imgres?imgurl=http://blog.bra... and papier mache.Cut off the traingle tops on the cartons and use 3 for the bottom towers and then 2 laying across the top. Tape it all together, go over it with papier mache, then when it's dry paint in the details.
Good luck! :)
