Why do christians get so butthurt so easily and erase anything that might be mildly offensive?

The way we live and believe is NOT a joke to us. We "can't seem to take a joke" because we are trying to bring others to the Light. It's not just our souls that are at risk, but yours and everyone else's that we are trying to save.

As for lacking the intellect to understand basic universal concepts, you are wrong, my friend. I am very smart and I absolutely have faith that God was, is and is to come. A lot of the smartest people in the world have religion.

As for "goddidit," well, that's faith. Have you ever seen a stack of 1 billion dollar bills? If not, then how do you know it exists? Because the evidence is all around you. That is a bit similar to having faith in God. Sure, science can explain most things eventually, but what made all those things just happen to come together and work perfectly? That's like taking a model airplane kit and putting it in a bag and shaking it until, presto! A model airplane pops out perfectly formed.

The idea of an all-knowing, all-seeing, all-powerful GOD makes people feel small and insignificant. However, it also makes us feel loved when there is no one around to love you. It makes me feel comforted when I am sad or lonely. It makes me be a better person every day. I have things I struggle with, attitude problems that are horrible, I am so far from perfect that it hard to believe a perfect Being could ever look at me and be all "I love you, daughter." I wouldn't. But that's why I am not God. I work hard to be better and to spread the love, comfort, and fulfillment that is in Jesus Christ.

The difference is substantial. An atheist who never really found themselves indoctrinated doesn't care about religion. It's just this dumb concept that they can't understand anybody else hasn't outgrown. So we go passive aggressive, and tease opinions made under religious premise.

A previously indoctrinated atheist will prolly be a little less casual about it - and'll be super direct.

A religious christian will be completely shocked by the fact that anyone disagrees with what they've been led to believe and (semi-)live by their entire lives. So we're all "Hah! Funny." And they're all "Stop teasing us - respect our belief!" / "You're gonna burn. That's how I feel better about this particular situation."

Non fanatic religious people'll generally be as passive as you are. It's just that they have no reason to be in *this* particular environment. I mean - really. Where would they fit into this discussion? They believe in god, but don't care about the baggage. They won't be here. =P

ok i am a christ follower (christian is to overrated of a term) but growing up southern babtist and not non denominational like i am ive found that god has a sence of humor and u cant be stuck up and not be able to take a joke ur right christians give athiests so much grief but honestly if i had most friends that were christian i wouldnt wanna be a christian because they cant take a joke are way to pushy and get offended way to easy. and thats not what god wants as a christian they havent discovered grace which is what we live by now there are no 10 conmandments any more that was an old covenant between god and man now we can start over fresh daily knowing he forgives us is bassicaly most christians are stuck in religious tradition that they need to be freed from it. were still human

Why should we be affected? You can't see light when you choose to walk blindly in the dark. We care because we all are human beings and we don't want to see anyone lost for eternity.

I ask for no pity, because I need none. Ultimately jokes and mocking don't greatly offend me. I used to not fully understand and mock what I didn't want to believe to. You have plenty of questions and will never know the truth if you don't truthfully "seek" out these things.

I don't know, they're all stuck up supremists who refuse to respect other's opinions. Yeah, the stuff they say some times is pretty funny :).

I don't post things about atheists in general. I do however answer some of their questions (some are so ridiculous they don't deserve a response). There are also atheists that "erase" things as well. Please don't suspect that we think for a moment you don't do it too.

Quran is not a copy of anything & there is no evidence to say such.statements in quran are against torah&bible.torah & bible has so many errors. & acording to sciense 80%of quran matches with sciense&other 20%of quran sciense doesn’t have answers maybe it will take couple of hundred years to find out for sciense.acording to historians original bible doesn’t exist anymore.
