Is it true that Dinesh Chandimal refused the IPL contract?

Last two years he was given $50,000 but he didn`t play a single match

This year with the injury of KP , Delhi asked him to come and play for 100k..He was not happy about having to sit in the bench last 2 years when he was there so he declined the offer..

He says he wants to use that period to get ready for Champions trophy..

Sri Lankan newly appointed Twenty 20 captain Dinesh Chandimal turned down the offer to play in Indian Premier League 6th edition this year.

Source revealed that he has taken the decision due to personal reasons. His bid worth of USD 50,000 refused at the annual IPL auction few weeks back.

The source further informed that the new offer of Chandimal is USD 100,000 to play in Daredevils to replace couple of high profiled members

He probably feels he isn't getting his due.... after all he is the captain of the Srilankan T20 International Team.

Whatever the reason was, his decision sets a great example for other SL players.
