Isis and Goldie for twin girls?
What do you think of the names Isis and Goldie for twin girls?
Also, would you use a lengthened version of either of these? (i.e. and have them as nicknames?)
Thanks!

No, Just no.
Yes, I get the reference.
For anyone who doesn't, they are the names of the reserve crews for the Oxford/Cambridge boat race. Isis is the name of the river in Oxford. I don't know why Cambridge's crew is called Goldie.

Well they would stand out but not too much.
Isis-
Isisliegh
Isisia
Isislyn
Isilia
Isilista
Isasilia
LIsa/Elisabeth*
Sisilia/ Sicilia*
Trisha/ Trish*
Isabelle/Isobel/Isabella*
Note: You can probably use any name that has "Is" in it at least once and just double it. My cousin had a friend named Kayla and she used to call her Kay-Kay. But normally Isis stands on its own.
Goldie-
Marigold (a type of flower)*
Goldliegh
Golden/Goldyn*
Goldette/Goldetta
Goldilocks/Goldilox/Goldlocks
Goldlyn*
Goldess*/Goldessa
Goldness*/Goldnessa
Goldolyn*
Gwendolyn*
Note: Goldie Hawn's name isn't short for anything- it's her givien name.

I don't particularly like either name though Isis is better than Goldie in my opinion.
The only name that i can think Goldie might be short for is Golden - which isn't my style but it isn't horrible either and I prefer it to Goldie.

Yeah they sound like nicknames to me so maybe Isla and Georgia as the proper names and then you could use isis and goldie for their nicknames
