Funny situation, what should I do?
I felt my bf becoming distant so I became distant as well. I like him a lot its just I dont like the lack of communication. I was pretty much ready to break up, then he texted me saying somethings been bothering him. He picked me up and we went to a nearby park.
He explained to me that he doesnt want to get too attached but he likes me a lot and doesnt want to lose me. I feel the same, but when he brought up that he might be switching colleges next year I thought that it was an excuse to break up, you know?
Then he started crying saying he doesnt want to hurt me, that itll be easier for me if we break up now than in the long run.
We broke up and he brought me home.
A while later he texted me saying he doesnt want to break up but doesnt want it to be serious yet.
What would you do? Does not being serious mean I can see other people?

Well, you know the guy better than anyone on here. What does your gut tell you?
He seemed pretty genuine to me. Guys usually don't just willy nilly cry like that. He said it and you just said it. You two broke up. Yes you can see other people it's just up to you whether you want to or not. If you really like him you could try to talk to him again and see if there was any way for you guys to work.. Give him some space then bring the subject of "us" back to the table. But I think since hes planning on changing colleges it will be harder on you guys.
