You don't. We are all born hindus, we just don't realize it.

Once you get free of the illusions it all becomes clear.

    Everybody is a born Hindu.

To the Best of ability one may start reading simple Hindu Scriptures, in a language in which is one is

    completely at ease.

Bhagavat Geetha in English by Nirnaya Sagar Press,Mumbai (Bombay) does NOT give "Biased" translations.

    NO conversion Rituals.

If one chooses to have an Hindu Name, then there is a "Naming Ritual" (Naama Karanam) which includes "Purification" --bath in "Sanctified Water"--Sanctification"of Water is done by Chantings

    by Priests.

If one is NOT interested in RITUALISTIC Hinduism, ONE may Choose VEDHANTHA.

A Vedhaanthist has NO DOGMAS/binding Rituals etc.

VEDHANTHAM=Study of Upanishads--Brahma Sutram--enquiry and acquisition of Knowledge about "Self"--(Aathmann)---"Supreme Being"(Brahmann)--relationship between Aathmann and Brahmann etc--Life after death--Liberation (Moksham) etc.It requires "Above Average Intelligence" -devotion to teachings and Commitment .

It is better to learn from a qualified GURU.In Europe-America-Australia-Canada=> RAMAKRISHNA

VIVEKANANDA Centers are there. One may GOOGLE and find the Locations/Phone Numbers--etc.

Religious Heads of these CENTERS are well qualified Scholars.

ISKCON should NOT be mistaken for TRUE VEDIC (HINDU) RELIGION--it is a kind of "Cult".--of- course ONE may join that also,if one has a "Liking" for it.

Don't really. Some Hindus are not even religious. It will be easy to stay the religion you are.

pour a bowl of milk. kneel before it and close your eyes.

when a rat drinks from the milk, share it with him.

you can also go see a benny hinn revival and ask him to give you a kundalini anointing
