god is evil...so now what? what should we do about it?

this question is only for those that believe god is evil, as do i.  most people get their image of god's nature from the bible.  if this god proves to be a reality, should we try to nuke him when He returns.  i realize that sounds laughable at best, but what other option do we have?  i,like so many others, find it impossible to honor this god of cruelty and death.

i understand god might be all powerful, but perhaps he is still vulnerable physically or emotionally.  and perhaps if we show enough hatred he will just go away, much like a shunned child on the playground.

More likely there is no god, or god has no idea of what's going on with us.

As for what we can do about it, the answer is nothing. If there is a god, he/she/it is by definition much more powerful than us, so the idea that we could somehow overcome god is kind of silly.

The image of god in the bible is just a reflection on the people who wrote the stories in the bible.
There is no vengeful bearded man in the sky and no one needs to be nuked or shunned.

well...I'm an atheist but I believe that every one has their religion and they all have the right. IF by any chance that happens Then I'm sure we'll have no chance...I mean...That's a GOD ! By most gods I've ever heard about, Gods can take lives and happiness and reason from people IF he's evil we have no choice but to obey him. He has all the right since he created us too. But if god exists I'm sure he wouldn't create us to control us like a game. If he created us there's no point in killing us. because He's god and he knows that real power isn't controlling someone or something so no worries ;)

"god" takes many forms and we only know the nature by what Human Beings wrote.  There are many ideas of 'god'.  Perhaps your opinion of this deity is one of cruelty, but there are millions of others who will argue this deity is one of compassion and love.  I think they outnumber those who believe 'god' cruel or evil.  No one is forcing you to believe in this god.  Ignore him and he will 'go away', at least as far as you are concerned.

The character of God is set and can be seen in that all is made for you, not against you.  God clearly defines His character as good in Genesis 1.  This means that all things from God are good.

The opposite is not God and cannot be attributed to Him, but to Satan.
