The bell-ring stuck into his consciousness like a red-hot needle.

He opened his eyes. He saw the illuminated digits of the quartz alarm clock standing next to him. 04:02 am. He straightened out on his bends. He felt after the handset. His hands moundered in the empty space. He remembered that he was in the recreation room. He examined his lab coats pockets, he found his cell phone. He looked at the screen. He didn't know the number. He picked up but he didn't answer.

A voice outspread in the dark room.

- Doctor Freire?

Sound of the bell shot his conscience like a hot needle..

He opened his eyes and saw the twinkling numbers of quartz alarm clock standing just beside him. It was 04.02. He sat up on his elbows and groped about for the receiver. His hand strayed in the air for a while. He remembered that he was in the lounge. He searched his pockets, found his cell phone. He looked at the screen. It was an unknown number. He picked it up but said nothing.

A voice scattered around the room:

- Doctor Freire?

I used "he" in this paragraph but it could also be a "she" depending on the character:)
