Unable to Change Home Page Photo - "Connection Timed Out"?
Unable to add or delete group photo - connection timed out error?
I'm currently unable to add or delete a group photo. Each time I attempt to do either, it yields a new page with the message "Connection Timed Out." The photo is jpeg format, just like the one that's on the Home Page now, and a small size. I tried using Safari and Firefox, but still had same problem. My group is Nutshell_Cubbyhole. It looks like other groups are having this problem, too.
I was able to get a picture onto my group's Home Page today (4/3) at approx. 8:15 AM (EST). Try your groups now. Perhaps Yahoo fixed the issue?

The Yahoo help form is difficult trying to find the right combo to generate the blue contact envelope. I wouldn't even bother with it.
Yahoo reps don't answer at Groups Suggedtion board. Others have posted about this and all you can do is wait until the Yahoo rep replies here and looks into it- they seem to have a 2-day delay in answering and start from the oldest questions asked, answering 2 ro 3 questions daily. So it might be a while.

I too am having the identical limitation with looking to trade my workforce homepage image. Can not delete nor ADD a brand new photograph. Yahoo giving me a "Connection Timed Out". I am competent to vary the colors of the workforce house web page nonetheless unable to alter the photograph for 3 days now. I am running home windows 7 have tried both Firefox browser and IE 10 and both are giving me the Connection outing error when looking to delete a image from my staff homepage or add a new one.

Wish I had an answer for you Cheryl. If you scroll down in posted questions, mine is there (noting the XML code error) and I think there are two others mentioned time outs on the photos. Like you I've tried multiple browsers, and as my group is for students, my students are trying from multiple ISPs. Nothing's working...yet. I also posted to Yahoo's SUGGESTIONS page. Hope someone at Yahoo somewhere can chime in with a time line for a fix. Best of luck...

I too am having the same issue with trying to change my group homepage picture. Can NOT delete nor ADD a new picture. Yahoo giving me a "Connection Timed Out". I am able to change the colors of the group home page However unable to change the picture for 3 days now. I suggest emailing yahoo help so they will know how many groups this is affecting. http://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?locale=en_U... guess Yahoo has changed and you can no longer contact them .. all it does was run you around in circles.

Add my group to the list of group sites that times out when attempting to change the homepage image or delete it. I have been doing this for several years on numerous sites and this is the first time this has happened and it is on only this one.
4/3 - I was just able to change out my group's home page image, so it appears Yahoo has resolved whatever problem they were experiencing that timed out with this function since at least 4/1.
