If you could bring back any 2 players from your favorite team's history, who would they be?

In their primes of course

I've got 2 favorite teams, the Mariners and the Giants- For the Mariners, I'd bring back Ken Griffey Jr. and Randy Johnson. I'd bring back Griffey because a solid left handed power hitter in would really solidify the middle of their order and take the pressure off of guys like Justin Smoak and Dustin Ackley and Kendrys Morales. And I'd bring back Randy Johnson just to add some depth behind Felix. I mean I guess we'll have to see how Brandon Maurer and Blake Beaven work out, who knows maybe we wouldn't even need Randy Johnson and I could bring back Edgar in his prime or a relief pitcher or something. But those my two for now.

And for the Giants, first off I'd bring back Willie Mays because one of the best all around players of all time, he offers depth offensively, defensively, on the base paths... He adds power, on base percentage, speed, dept defensively in the outfield which they need. Pretty much anywhere in the game. And for my second player, I'd choose Travis Jackson. A less well known player, Travis Jackson played shortstop for the Giants in the 20's and 30's. He was a pretty good contact hitter with good speed and a high on base percentage. He was also a huge threat to steal a base. I'd pick him because, I like Brandon Crawford and all, I think he seems like a good guy, but he's really just not doing it for me on the field. He does seem to be able to always come through in the clutch which is good, but he can't really get it done any other time. So I'd bring Travis Jackson back to start over him and let Brandon Crawford spend some more time developing

Those are mine, who would you pick?

PS- If a lot of people answer this, I might do one for the NBA/ NFL too

I would bring back Craig Biggio and Jeff Bagwell for the Astros:

Craig Biggio: he never complained and always came to play the game that he loved. I would even let him pick where he wanted to play since he played catcher, 2nd base, and outfiled for the Stros'. He might even help them move out of last place!!!

Jeff Bagwell: I have to stick with the killer B's for the Stros'. He might not be the best hitter or 1st baseman but he was a heck of a player and I think if his back wasn't going out on him he could have easily played for another couple of years.

I don't have a long history to choose from the Diamondbacks so I would bring back Randy Johnson and Brandon Webb in their prime. Johnson is obviously one of the greatest pitchers of all time and I would love to see him at his best. Brandon Webb's career was derailed by injuries but in the 3 seasons before he pitched like an ace and was by far one of the best 3 pitchers in the game; maybe the best. I was tempted to pick Curt Schilling and Luis Gonzalez.

Sandy Koufax in his prime so everyone today would have a chance to see how great he was. My second player would actually come from the team that beat the living daylights out of the Dodgers from time-to-time and the greatest player I ever saw play, and that would be Willie Mays.
