I'm 22, I love football, baseball, music, snowboarding and the Northwest. I live in Seattle, I grew up in California and Hawaii. My favorite teams are: NFL: Seahawks, 49ers MLB: Giants, Mariners NBA: The Sonics when we get them back NHL: Canucks NCAA: Hawaii, Washington, Stanford

  • If you could add any player in the NFL to your favorite team, who would it be?

As a Seahawks fan, I think I'd want either a top notch, explosive deep threat receiver like Calvin Johnson or AJ Green or a top notch pass rusher like JJ Watt. But I think we're more in need of a receiver, so I'd go with Calvin Johnson.

Also, what player from your teams history would you add if you could and get them in their prime?

  • Marketing ideas for a small, independent movie theater?

I work at a small, single screen, independent movie theater. We get mostly big, first run movies, but I'm trying to think of some ideas for marketing. So far I've thought of a few things such as playing a Christmas movie every Monday night in December (Monday nights are generally our slowest time of the week and we usually lose money) and giving out free hot coco or apple cider or something. Another idea I had was hosting a Super Bowl party, showing the game on the big screen and having it catered by a local sports bar down the street with whom we've done advertising with in the past. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks a lot!

  • How do you feel about the new Yahoo Answers?

I hate it and I really wish they would change it back or at least let people decide weather or not they want the new or old version. I'm probably going to stop using it if they don't change it back. Do you guys agree?

  • Where do we draw the line at PED's?

Obviously if a player is taking testosterone or Durabolin, we've decided that that's not okay, and it looks like anti-aging agents are out of the question too, but everybody takes creatine supplements these days. They're encouraged too. But creatine could be considered a performance enhancing supplement as well, so where does the line stand? What is perfectly acceptable and what leaves deems people cheaters and makes them deserve to be stripped from the record books and crucified?

  • Is there a way to rent a car if you're not 25?

My wife and I are going to Chicago in December to visit a friend, but neither of us will be 25 yet then. Is there a way you can rent a car if you're under 25, or do we just have to manage to get around without one?

  • Men- What movies have made you cry?

Movies I can remember making me cry were The Outsiders, The Descendents, We Bought A Zoo and Marley and Me. I've concluded that anybody who didn't cry in Marley and Me is heartless

  • How did God come to be?

I was having a conversation with a coworker today and I am a faithful Christian, I have no doubt in my mind that God exists and he is an atheist. We were having a friendly argument and I brought up how everything is evidence of God's existence. I said that everything is here because of God and stuff just can't magically appear, everything needs a creator which is God. But he made a really good point, he said "Then how was God created?" And I had nothing to say to that.. As far as I know there's no biblical explanation for how God was created. Or am I wrong? Is there?

And if you don't believe in God, that's okay, please just move onto the next question, I don't need a bunch of people being like "He was never created because he doesn't exist".

  • Do you think John Mayer's an underrated guitarist?

I know a lot of people think he's just some ladie's man, pop singer with little guitar skill, but I've found that he's actually a way better guitarist than he gets credit for. Like some songs, he shreds like he's been playing the blues for 50 years. Like in songs like Gravity and Wait Until Tomorrow. He knows what he's doing, I honestly think he's one of the best guitarists of the last 10 or 20 years

  • How can I publish my short story to make money?

I wrote a short story about an lonely, old sailor who rents his property out to a college student for a ridiculously low price on the condition that once a month when he comes to collect the rent, he'll sit and talk to him for a few hours and listen to his stories. I think it's pretty good and I'm wondering how I can publish it and make some money. I'm obviously not looking to make thousands of dollars or anything but just like 50 or 100 bucks would be sort of cool, but I'm pretty new to this whole literacy thing and I'm wondering how people make money off of short stories

  • How hard is the math if I want to be a marine bioligist?

I'm thinking about going back to school to get a degree in Marine Biology, because I love the ocean and I spend a lot of my spare time surfing and sailing and learning about the ocean and everything that resides in it, but the problem is that I've always struggled tremendously in math. Even in basic algebra classes in high school I struggled. I'm wondering how many hard math classes I'll have to take to get my marine biology degree and if it's doable for somebody who has always struggled in math. Thanks

  • Worried about my foot healing?

So I broke my talus bone about a month ago. It was an slight displace fracture on both sides and initially my doctor said it would be 8-12 weeks before I could even bare weight on it. So like I said that was about a month ago and when I went in today to get it checked up, they took an x-ray and the bone had completely healed and the doctor said that I was good to walk on it and he said I didn't need a walking boot or physical therapy or anything. So I thought it was a little bit weird, but I trusted that he knew what he was talking about and I've walked on it some, but it still hurts pretty bad and I'm starting to wonder if maybe I should stay off of it some more. I kind of want a second opinion. Does anyone know if pain is normal? Cause the doctor said that it would feel weird and stiff for a few months, but he didn't say it would be painful. Maybe I'm over reacting, but I just want to be absolutely positive that it's okay to walk on before I potentially do even more damage. So I'm just wondering if anyone knows if it realistically would have healed that fast and if it's normal for it to hurt when walking on for the first few days. Thanks!

  • Can you use a white xbox 360 controller with a black xbox 360?

I know this is probably a stupid question, but I've never really been into video games, but I'm buying an xbox 360 today because I broke my leg and I need something to do haha. And I have two white controllers already but I found a pretty inexpensive black refurbished xbox at Gamestop and I just want to make sure I don't have to buy new controllers. Also does anyone know if it's a good idea to get a refurbished one from Gamestop, or should I just get a brand new one for like 40 dollars more? Thanks!

  • What are some things I can do with a broken ankle?

I broke my ankle playing basketball the other day and I'm in a cast for 8-12 weeks and I'm getting so jittery. I've just been sitting on the couch watching TV all day and it sucks because I'm usually super active and athletic and I hardly ever spend more than an hour or so in one day sitting around and now that's all I have to do. And it's even harder because it's just starting to get nice out but I can't really go surfing or play baseball or basketball or do anything to really enjoy the sun. And I can't go to work, and I also can't drive anywhere because I have a cast and I'm on pain killers. I've been going for short walks I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to things I could do to keep from going insane. I don't really play video games much or stuff like that but if anybody's got any suggestions of fun games I could play, I'm open to trying them out, I have a Wii and an xbox 360. Any suggestions are good ones at this point haha! Thank you!

  • If you could add any two players in the MLB to your favorite team, who would you add?

I'm a Mariners fan and I would add Buster Posey because Jesus Montero really isn't doing it for me and I think having a really really good offensive catcher would be really valuable because then we could focus on other things and add some run support for our pitching staff. Then I would also add Justin Verlander just to add even more depth to our rotation. You can't beat us if you can't score. Who would you add to your team?

  • If you could bring back any 2 players from your favorite team's history, who would they be?

    In their primes of course

I've got 2 favorite teams, the Mariners and the Giants- For the Mariners, I'd bring back Ken Griffey Jr. and Randy Johnson. I'd bring back Griffey because a solid left handed power hitter in would really solidify the middle of their order and take the pressure off of guys like Justin Smoak and Dustin Ackley and Kendrys Morales. And I'd bring back Randy Johnson just to add some depth behind Felix. I mean I guess we'll have to see how Brandon Maurer and Blake Beaven work out, who knows maybe we wouldn't even need Randy Johnson and I could bring back Edgar in his prime or a relief pitcher or something. But those my two for now.

And for the Giants, first off I'd bring back Willie Mays because one of the best all around players of all time, he offers depth offensively, defensively, on the base paths... He adds power, on base percentage, speed, dept defensively in the outfield which they need. Pretty much anywhere in the game. And for my second player, I'd choose Travis Jackson. A less well known player, Travis Jackson played shortstop for the Giants in the 20's and 30's. He was a pretty good contact hitter with good speed and a high on base percentage. He was also a huge threat to steal a base. I'd pick him because, I like Brandon Crawford and all, I think he seems like a good guy, but he's really just not doing it for me on the field. He does seem to be able to always come through in the clutch which is good, but he can't really get it done any other time. So I'd bring Travis Jackson back to start over him and let Brandon Crawford spend some more time developing

Those are mine, who would you pick?

PS- If a lot of people answer this, I might do one for the NBA/ NFL too
