Do people not know how to Google?
So, I've been answering quite a few questions here on this lovely site, and I have come to the conclusion that people don't understand what Google is for.
I answer the same question day in and day out.
I answer questions that take two seconds to type in to Google.
So, why do you think this is? Why do people take the time to post a question and wait for an answer vs. Googling it?
Just to clarify, I don't mean the questions that do not have an immediate answer. I mean the cookie cutter questions that litter the site.

I agree with you entirely. It makes no sense to me either, I mean its faster just to Google it, the results appear within seconds. Why not just do that? Its beyond me...

Google might be convenient and fast, but it takes the fun out of figuring something out or knowing something. I find that people like to take the hard way out of things by using yahoo when they could just google it.

Well it's kinda a thrill for people to get customized answers to their questions in real time.
