Do you get less student finance if you have a job?
I just found out I got this job I applied for! I'm really happy about it and I won't start for a few weeks, maybe even a month cos I need to have induction sessions, CRB and everything else (I'm working with children) and I start on minimum wage. I'm 18 and going to university in September (hopefully) and I haven't applied for student finance yet. I can't find answers on Google or anything but do you get less money with student finance if you have a job? Many thanks!

Well, I just noticed you live in the UK so this answer might not actually be beneficial but -
Here in the States, yes it does affect your aid. When you apply for aid you have to submit your previous years tax return and your aid is based on your income. Since youre only 18, it would also be calculated off of your parents' income.
If you are only going to take out student loans than it shouldn't make a difference.
Like I said though, idk if the UK is different, most likely honestly, you should ask your school counselor just in case, they should definitely know! :)
