I Don't Know What To Do? :(?

Okay, so, I have a lot of books and I really like them to be in a certain format. For example, If two of them are hardcover and one is in paperback, I WANT to buy it in hardcover, but whenever I get some money I like to spend it on something new I haven't read. What would you do? Do you feel the same way? Would you buy them to match the same format? Should I save money? Should I only do it for the books I like the most and will re-read? What would you do? WWYD

Yes, I like my books to be in the same format as well. However, if I already have it in a different edition, I won't buy it again just for the sake of matching. I will try to get all future books in the new edition, if that makes sense. Like, I bought the first 3 Mortal Instruments in paperback, small, but the 4th one had just came out, so I had to buy it in the newly released edition, which is larger than the first 3 that I have, so now, I make sure the 5th and 6th ones are going to be large as well. Does that make sense?

Now-a-days, however, due to my lack of money, I borrow all the books I want to read from the library, and after I've read them, I decide whether or not they're worth buying. Once I have the first book, though, I skip the library and buy the next book as soon as I can.

I wouldn't try to get them all in the same format, because sometimes books don't come in every format.

Buy books for their content, not for how they'll look on the shelf.
