Vegetarian Survey (only for vegetarians)?
Hello everyone! These questions are directed at vegetarians of all sorts (vegan, lacto, etc)
These questions are just out of curiosity! No offence implied :)
1.Do you check restaurants to make sure they cook/prepare your food separate from meat?
2. Would you ever go hunting or fishing?
3. If you were in a survival situation, would you eat meat to survive?
If you can elaborate on this, it would be great! I would love to hear your responses :D

1. No. I am a vegetarian for ethical reasons and if meat somehow touched my food I would still eat it. As long as there's no actual meat in the food.
2. Depends. My dogs eat prey model raw (a diet consisting of raw meat, bones, organs etc.) so I would go for them. It's better than store bought meat.
3. Also depends. Would I be the only one there? I would probably save the meat and other things for my family and friends. I'm sure survival instincts would take over so maybe I would. I don't know how likely this is to happen so..

1. Why did you became a Vegetarian? Various motives, not simply the one. 2. Do you've acquaintances who're Vegetarians? Colleagues and loved ones, however no longer especially friends. Three. Do you've buddies that devour animal flesh? A lot. Four. Do your buddies respect that you're a Vegetarian? All of them do, in any other case they would not stay associates for terribly long. 5. Are you proud to be a Vegetarian? In a way, sure. Proud that the quantity of animals killed annually for food, garb, cleaning soap and different makes use of, has not been enormously extended via any contribution on *my* part. Proud that my well being is better than it will had been if I hadn't been a vegetarian for any such long time. 6. Are you also a Vegan? Now not but. It can be a probability one day though. 7. How do you believe when any one kills an animal in front of you? Sad. If it was deliberately done to upset me, then doubly so. Eight. Is any one for your family a Vegetarian? Mother, brother, sister-in-legislation. 9. Do you need your children to be Vegetarians? It might be high-quality, but i'd accept just having kids that recognize animal life as so much as they do human existence. 10. Would you consume animal flesh for 1 million bucks? No. Not even for one billion. There are a few matters I would do for that much money, but consuming animals is absolutely now not certainly one of them.

I'm new at this but I figured I will answer
I haven't eaten out yet, I actulaly don't eat out too often, but i know I can at least get a salad most places without the meat added to it.
Yes, I would go hunting. For Morel mushrooms...lol I wouldn't hunt for animals unless there were no other choices.
The main reason I am vegitarian is because of the abuse of animals in factory farms. If for some reason there was no plant life to live off of (a freeze or something like that) then yes I would hunt and get my own food. It would be humane though, and it would be absolutly necissary. I have always beleived that God did give us animals to eat, IF NEEDED. People who live in artic conditions could not live off plants because they are not available, right. If they are available then why should we eat the animal?

1) I am not checking restaurants, check the food when brought only.
2) Yes. My dad is a hunter (I do not go hunting with him!), but fishing is ok for me.
3). I was in such situation and did not eat meat, had bread and rice only. However, if there would be no other option, except meat - I guess I would.. why to starve..?

No.
I would go fishing only if we release the animal.
I would see what vegetation I could eat and eat meat as a last resort.

ANdes and there's dead bodies around? Hell I'd eat my own butt. THese survival situations are rather incomplete. Where is this "meat"? A living animal, where does it eat, I'll go eat that. Please fill in the entire picture of the survival situation before I answer with one word.
