Is it worth spending much on an internal DVD drive for a desktop?

I was wondering if there is much difference between two 24x DVD drives which seem to offer the same thing, but one costs £10 more. Does the more expensive one read data more accurately, or write data better? Would sound quality from it be better?

Almost EVERYONE who builds their own machine will opt for the cheapest one available.....

2 frequently picked drives are the IHAS 124 and the Sony Optiarc 7280s

Personally I dont think it matters which one you get, because lets face it the only time you use it is to Install Windows, Burn CDs and maybe installing software/games which you dont get from Steam/Origin

I have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N8... which I paid about £15 for and in the last 8-10 months I've used it about 15-20 times.....which is nothing when you think about....
