I'd remove the restrictions on tyre use - no need to use both compounds in the race if you don't want to, and no requirement for the top 10 to start on their qualifying tyres. While those rules served a purpose during the last year of Bridgestone's involvement in F1, the Pirelli tyre characteristics mean that they are now at best irrelevant and at worst they can detract from the races by making the fastest cars run much more slowly than they could in some parts of the race.

i think of it somewhat is reliable. I keep in mind the races interior the 70's without refueling and no tires substitute and that they've been magnificent. A pit quit became then an accident, no longer portion of a innovations-set pastime. the driving force became required to do his terrific for the period of the full race. New tires, reliable brakes on the commencing up yet a heavy motor vehicle, worn tires, fadded brakes on the tip with a lighter motor vehicle. It became very undemanding to video reveal many overtakes and the races have been far extra ineresting than now.

Only limit engine size. Let them develop the technology that will eventually be in production cars. F1 teams have a lot of money to spend on R+D and they come up with some good stuff.

I'd get rid of the rule requiring team cars to be identical. There's no point to it. Why should Massa's car be painted exactly like Fernando's? Let each car get its own paint job. It would make F1 a bit more colorful.

I'd ban Team Orders. To be honest, it isn't fair on the fans for biased scripted ordering to take place. In F1, it's every man for themselves and it's the man how pushes to the length of excellence that will win. We don't need people being told what to do, let people race by their own demands.

Get rid of all the provisions in the Concorde Agreement that gives Ferrari preference over the other teams. Ferrari gets more money just for showing up, they have a guaranteed seat on the FIA board, and several other perks.

No budgets. oh and what Will said. and teams have to build most of there own mechanical parts and not do a red bull and buy bits from other teams.
