I love my wife more then anything, so why do I still get the often urge to fantasise about other woman?

It happens to both men and women even if they are married. It's not a problem though if you really do love your wife the way you've explained.

natural...if u dont act on it..
and give her any ideas or throw in her face what u feeling.
It may not be on her mind ...especially if shes reached the age of maturity.
Some women are reserved and may even wish the guy would go out and fulfill it with or without her.SO that whatever the problems are ,.dont be difficult down the road.

Uhh ... because men and women fantasize about "what ifs".
And sometimes they act on those "what ifs". Its okay to have a fantasy life. Just remember unless you have an open marriage, I'd suggest you have sex with the wife, and fantasize about the other women.
