Christians: Is child baptism biblical?
I was raised in a church that does this.
Recently I've come to really wanting to renew my faith. Jesus revealed Himself to me.
Should I get baptized again?

If you were "raised in a church that does this," then you need to find out their reasons for baptizing you as an infant. If you are simply looking for justification to get baptized as a result of renewing your faith, there are many churches that will not look at your infant baptism as valid, and they will want you to be baptized for what they see as the first time, not the second.
Do I see child baptism as biblical...yes, there's an enormous amount of support for paedo baptism that shreds credo baptist beliefs. Either side will see the other as "just getting wet." But if you see baptism as a way for you to show your love for Jesus Christ as an outward sign of an inward conviction, then by all means do so! Let the paedo baptists roll their eyes, you do what you need to do.

Do you mean infant baptism? Absolutely not. If you can find it as a Bible teaching, I'll give you $1000.
@ Devil - How can an infant have "faith in the power of God"? And it is an ASSUMPTION that the baptisms you referred to in the Bible included infants. Have you not considered the idea that maybe the parents did not need to be told that their infant children could not understand the Gospel, and therefore were incapable of participating in a Biblical baptism? Or that they didn't even have infant children? The bad part is you probably still don't realize that you've been busted. Back to the question.
"Even a cursory reading of the New Testament will reveal that the Catholic Church does not have its origin in the teachings of Jesus or His apostles. In the New Testament, there is no mention of the papacy, worship/adoration of Mary (or the immaculate conception of Mary, the perpetual virginity of Mary, the assumption of Mary, or Mary as co-redemptrix and mediatrix), petitioning saints in heaven for their prayers, apostolic succession, the ordinances of the church functioning as sacraments, infant baptism, confession of sin to a priest, purgatory, indulgences, or the equal authority of church tradition and Scripture."
You said "Jesus revealed Himself to me. Should I get baptized again?"
First of all, infant baptism, which is unBiblical in nature doesn't count. If you were to get Biblically baptized, that would be your first baptism.
Secondly, I have no way of knowing exactly what you mean by Jesus revealed Himself to me."
Biblical salvation is an act of obedience to be carried out, immediately if possible by those who have trusted Christ as their Savior. In order to better understand exactly what that means, read the first nine chapters of Romans, KJV. I could paraphrase it; but the Bible says it so much more beautifully than I could. May God bless you very richly.

The ancient teaching of the Church is that only one baptism in the name of the Trinity is required, unless one has apostatized -- actively renounced the faith -- and then returned; even then it would be up to the bishop.
Child baptism -- even infant baptism -- *is biblical; it's why the ancient churches all practice it. Scriptural evidence is manifold; there are several instances in the NT where entire households were baptized; that would naturally include children. Also, baptism replaced circumcision as the entry rite into the family of faith; circumcision was done on the 8th day after birth -- not "when the child understood".
Forgive me.

It depends. really, on the understanding that the child has. Why?
Because Jesus set the basis for baptism, at Matthew 28:19,20, where he commanded, "Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded you . . ."
A disciple is "a taught one, a learner." So only those who understand the truths of God's word and can convey and teach them to others should be baptized.
After all, a significant part of their being baptized is that they "observe all the things I [Jesus] have commanded you." That would mean being able to teach others, would it not?
So then, how would you qualify to be baptized unless you, too, are able to teach others the truths of God's word?
Hope this helps your understanding.

re-baptism is your choice
if its the same church, you probably dont need to, except for a public testimony
i know of people that were rebaptized, and usually its because they changed their religion and their beliefs
child baptism is called an abomination in the book of mormon.
children should only be baptized when they come of age and understand the gosple principles and have been taught in the beliefs of the faith and when they can understand what it really represents.
otherwise, the atonement of christ is sufficient for all unbaptized children that die before the age of accountability.
Moro. 8: 10
10 Behold I say unto you that this thing shall ye teach—repentance and baptism unto those who are aaccountable and capable of committing sin; yea, teach parents that they must repent and be baptized, and humble themselves as their little children, and they shall all be saved with their little children.
D&C 18: 42
42 For all men must repent and be baptized, and not only men, but women, and children who have arrived at the years of accountability.

No. Baptism is identifing with Christ = comes after salvation, and is a testimony of Christs death burial and resurrection. If you have been born again, yes you need to be baptised in the Biblical manner, immersion.

Baptism is an outward display of an inward change, I would do it again, (and have). My church does infant baptisms. I would be ok with dedications instead...

Time to be destroyed by your own heresy. The Israelites had circumcised male infants 8 days old well according to St. Paul baptism replaced circumcision in Christianity. Infants can be baptized because it's the rite of Christian initiation into the Body of Christ (Church).
Genesis 17:12
Throughout the ages, every male among you, when he is eight days old, shall be circumcised, including houseborn slaves and those acquired with money from any foreigner who is not of your blood.
Leviticus 12:3
On the eighth day, the flesh of the boy's foreskin shall be circumcised,
Colossians 2:11-12
In him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not administered by hand, by stripping off the carnal body, with the circumcision of Christ. You were buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the power of God, who raised him from the dead.
----
According to Jesus children are worthy of Him why would you turn them away from being baptized? Another point is that Jesus said you have to be like children which means they have the right to be baptized and be a member of the Body of Christ (Church).
Matthew 19:13-15
Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked them, but Jesus said, "Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." After he placed his hands on them, he went away.
Mark 10:13-15
And people were bringing children to him that he might touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this he became indignant and said to them, "Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it."
Luke 18:15-17
People were bringing even infants to him that he might touch them, and when the disciples saw this, they rebuked them. Jesus, however, called the children to himself and said, "Let the children come to me and do not prevent them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it."

In Acts 2:39 the Greek word for children is teknon which also includes infants. In Acts 2:38 the Greek tanslation is not "Repent and and Baptized" but is actaully "If you repent, then each one who is a part of you and yours must each be baptized”. And finally entire households were baptized which included infants and children.
Acts 2:39
For the promise is made to you and to your children and to all those far off, whomever the Lord our God will call."
Acts 2:38
Peter (said) to them, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the holy Spirit.
Acts 10:47-48
Can anyone withhold the water for baptizing these people, who have received the holy Spirit even as we have?" He ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ.
Acts 16:15
After she and her household had been baptized, she offered us an invitation, "If you consider me a believer in the Lord, come and stay at my home," and she prevailed on us.
Acts 16:33
He took them in at that hour of the night and bathed their wounds; then he and all his family were baptized at once.
---
Everyone is born of sinful flesh there is no exception including children which is why we are baptized to recieve the gift of Grace from the Holy Spirit.
Romans 5:12
Therefore, just as through one person sin entered the world, and through sin, death, and thus death came to all, inasmuch as all sinned
Ephesians 2:3
All of us once lived among them in the desires of our flesh, following the wishes of the flesh and the impulses, and we were by nature children of wrath, like the rest.
The Jehovah WItness got it wrong but than again they are not Christians. Infants and children are baptized under their parents' faith in which their parents raise them in their faith which is why when you are baptized you are a neophyte which means novice. So when Jesus told His Apostles to go out and baptize all nations and make deciples of them this also included their families.
