Your character gets actual beneficial, undeniable blessings from their powers.

If there were real gods they could learn from that.

Give people something they can actually use, not just their low IQ.

Something they can show us atheists. If they cast heal on me and I should take damage or something because I'm undead, or not part of the holy crap.
