Will Tiger Woods win a Major this year?

Obviously, it's not going to be the Masters today.

BQ- What chance do you give Woods of breaking Jack Nicklaus' record of 18 Major wins?

I wouldn't be surprised if he did, but I'm going to say no. Everyone keeps jumping on the Tiger bandwagon every time the Masters rolls around, and he keeps coming up short. If he wins one I'd guess on the British Open.

BQ- I might give him a 25% chance at this point. It's still a realistic possibility but that's 5 major wins to break the record. That's a lot to ask.

I believe he will at least win one this year. The way he has been playing has been phenomenal. He is only 37 so I really think he has a great shot at beating both Sam Snead's record of PGA wins and the Golden Bear's record of 18 major championships.

That being said, even if Tiger fails at either of these, he should still go down as the greatest to ever play the game. There were not as many people in competition back then as their is now. The game was not as difficult to win as it is now, with all the rules, close to a hundred and fifty people in every tournament (unheard of at that time).

It is rough to assert. The tournaments he gained this 12 months so far were on courses that he historically dominated. Tiger can beat most guys at Torrey Pines and Doral with his eyes closed. So i don't feel his efficiency at these places give excellent indication of what he would do within the majors. We have got to see him play extra on guides rather then Torrey Pines, Doral, Bay Hill, and Muirfield Village. He is too good on these publications and his performance on them don't give an overall clue as to where his sport is presently at. Simply appear at what occurred final week on the Honda classic, two weeks in the past within the Accenture healthy Play, or a few weeks ago in Abu Dhabi. He did not participate in good in either. So what will we go by: his recreation in his two victories or his game in his other starts? The outcome are inconsistent.

Who knows and a 50/50 chance depending on whether he rediscovers his thirst for Waffle House waitresses and porn stars. I wonder when the announcers will stop talking about Eldrick today.... when he's 7 out with 15 guys ahead of him? 10 out with 5 to play and 25 guys ahead of him? Granted, Roger Maltbie isn't on today's broadcast team but the CBS boys still love to roto rooter Eldrick's asshole and give it a few twirls as well.
