where is the diesel fuel filter on a 2003 Peugeot 307 2.0 110 hdi?

If it's not on the engine, it could be done on the frame.

so we brought a second hand Peugeot 307 and i want to service it, but i can not see the diesel filter. can you tell me / show me where it is please in pictures if possible

As you look from the front,black plastic housing on the engine between the head and the rad,,higher than the oil filter but around the same place.

has 3 or 4 plastic pipes going into the top,some of the models have a primer bulb in one of the lines,,odd size of plastic nut that's part of the whole cover,there's a special socket for it,be careful if you don't have it,the plastic nut can deform/break!

And there's a two wire connector that fits the housing,fuel heater if I recall.

Oh and when you get the cover off and the filter out look down into the chamber,there'll be some fuel still in there,that's fine,what you do not want to see is swarf,that will be the remains of the in take pump that breaking up!!

anyway,there's a small wheel nut on the front base of the filter housing,suppose to have a pipe on iunscrewingng this will drain the housing through the pipe,mostly.

Underneath at the back

if i remember rightly,look down past the battery.it's enclosed in a round black plastic holder.it's a bit awkward to replace.
