Creationists, can I ask you some questions?

Have you taken, and passed, a college level biology class at an accredited college or university? If you have, was evolution part of the curriculum? If it was how did you pass the class?

Bonus question for young earth creationists:

Have you taken, and passed, a college level geology class at an accredited college or university?

Update:

Edits:

@Yugoslavia: Why do I have a feeling your lying about being a doctor and graduating from Harvard? You might not be, but I bet you are?

@skips714: You know how to copy and paste. That's nice. Would you like to answer the questions?

@Dan: Thank you for answering. I should have asked this in the original question, which type of creationist are you? Do you believe in the literal account of genesis or do you believe it is a figurative story? Do you accept any parts of evolutionary theories.

Update 2:

@Mystique: I'm a geologist. Much of what you stated is just wrong. Geologically there is no evidence of a global flood. Go here:

http://geology.about.com/od/flooding/qt/floodcomeb...

to read about how the formation of the Black Sea likely led to the Noah's flood story. While there are a tiny handful of geologists that think a global flood occurred they are an extreme minority and are lacking any evidence for their claims.

As far as soft tissue being found is a Tyrannosaurus leg bone that is untrue. The bone was fully mineralized but was placed in a weak acidic solution, where after some period of time it turned soft for reasons that are still being investigated. There is some indication that pond scum may have contaminated the specimen and lead to the softening.

I believe that God created the universe. I have not only passed a biology class, but received a Master's in biochemistry.

    EDIT:

I'm not really sure what type of creationist I am. I trust that God created the universe but I try to not let my theology be defined by broad categories. I think that we just don't know enough about science or religion to give definitive answers to every question.

Genesis seems to be figurative. If you look at the first days, there wasn't a fully made Earth or Sun. Given that, I'm not sure how one would define a day or a night.

I accept most parts of evolutionary theory and have seen the results of micro-evolution myself in the laboratory. I know more about genetics and biology than most people; that's why I also know that our current level of understanding leaves us with more questions than answers. I find the answer to many of those questions with God, and I have yet to come across anything that makes me uncomfortable as a Christian and a scientist.

“In objects of known origin, there are certain features—specified complex information—that occur only in those made by an intelligent designer (or an intelligently designed program). So by the normal analogical reasoning we use in science, when we see these features in an object where the origin is unknown, we can likewise conclude that this object had an intelligent designer.

“These features are those that an archaeologist would use to determine whether an object was designed by an intelligent designer, or that a SETI devotee would use to argue that a signal from space came from an intelligent alien, or whether a ballot or card game was fixed, or whether a sequence of letters was the result of intelligence or monkeys on a keyboard.

“In the first two cases above, it would be perverse to complain that the archaeologist didn’t discuss whether the object’s designer itself had a designer, or that the SETI researcher didn’t tell us who designed the alien. It would be even sillier to argue from this that we should simply drop the idea of design, and conclude that the object or hypothetical space signal had no designer.”

If there’s no way for the DNA code to come about via natural processes, evolution is impossible. A huge problem is this: the DNA information requires complex decoding machines, including the ribosome, so it can be decoded into the specifications to build the proteins required for life, including enzymes. But the information required to build ribosomes is itself encoded on the DNA. So DNA information can’t be decoded without products of its translation, forming a ‘vicious circle’. And decoding machinery requires energy from ATP, built by ATP-synthase motors, built from instructions in the DNA decoded by ribosomes … ‘vicious circles’ for any materialistic origin theory.

yes & everything about evolution is in the bible..from pangea to dinosaurs...just...a shorter timeframe. as proof look to the turkish goverment: (see link below) furthermore, evolotioinary scientists today are starting to accept the fact that a global flood "may have happened" in the past. also they are starting to say millions instead of billions. a few even say tens ofthousands years now...imagine that. hmm google that one!

noah lived during the time of the pangea continent (if you've ever studied evolution..you'll know this word).

pangea exists in the bible to..only we beleive it split apart a few thousand years ago instead of millions.

peleg (meaning: divided earth) was about 200 years after the flood. he was a man who lived when the earth split into what it is today.

furthermore, the ark landed in the mountains of ararat. where it is today is at the bottom of a long slide, most likely caused by the great quake of the continents 200 years after it landed. (see link below)

one last thing, noah did NOT take on every single species. this is ridiculous even if the ark had 6 levels (as some sites believe) he only took on every type...aka the parent original. for eg, he would not need to bring on pugs, dalmations, poodles, etc. just a few different wolves & then crossbreed.

same goes for the plants called "heritage seeds" google about heritage seeds. they are still around today. people who keep the plants pure from original stalk for organic gardeners. again..same idea to get the variety we have today...crossbreed/hybrids.

of course he had no need to bring water animals....seing as how the earth was one land one sea..the water creatures probably didnt even know about the flood unless they swam past new territory lol noah's ark came onto land after the flood it was in the lower mountains of ararat.

there is a large birds eye shape seen from space on a lower hill next to that mountain. archaologists who went in there has found immense ribbing of a ship thats split apart & sunk in a bit over time. there are also 12 large anchor stones. one of them has 8 anceint foreing signatures on it....hmm

here is your link: goverment confirmed: http://users.netconnect.com.au/~leedas/noaha.html

the bible says: behemoth(land)/leviathan(water… ( air! NOT to be confused with the devil's symbol) & obviously birds. created days 5 & 6...adam/eve day 6.

the word dinosaur is not in the bible simply cuz its a new word...first said in the 1800's. fossils are always found around water/where water used to be. dino bones are near the surface in heaps. whole mammoths with food still in their mouths have been found frozen.

if this had been billions of years ago..shouldnt all this be buried deep..even turned to dust unable to be found? also in texas... a series of footprints in the same layers have been found...man AND dino together. recently a legbone of a dinosaur had been found that was so large it had to be split.

soft tissue...SOFT? DA FUQ? was found inside....it was dated 4400 years ago....noah's ark was around then. scientists have been recently saying that a global flood in the past is theoraticly possible."points at a very guilty suspect...BLAME NOAH FOR THIS! DELIEVER HIM TO PHAR....oh wait...sorry LOL"

    (yul brenner/charlton heston...wrong movie!)

Source(s): ron wyatt(7DA)/micahel rood(jew)/pastor doug batchelor (ex-atheist)/turk gov (politics) other things have been found from the red sea crossing to the ark of the covenant. google any of these guys/things about it.

It was in the books, and on films, but the questions were left out of the tests and quizzes.
