The culture of the 60's is impossible to describe because it changed pretty much from year to year.

The early 60's were like the 50's - but changing quicker. There was a consdierable change from the stalwart "Leave it to Beaver" kind of mentality left over changing more into an enlightened populace I'd say mostly due to the beatniks and rock n roll. People started to become more and more free like we are today. Prior to that everyone was expected to toe the line and be a cookie cutter cutout of what their elders wanted.

The later 60's really blew up as far as freedom is concerned. Everyone seemed to open their eyes finally.

Today's culture has remnants of the 60's in it but seems to have become more and more only to be about money.

almost like things are regressing to ......no, change that.... EXACTLY. Regressing back to a cookie cutter society. Toe the line or else kind of mentality lately.
