How long will religion last?

Will the current religions of today pale into insignificance like the religions of yesterday like the Greek and roman gods, after all those people believed in those Gods, where as people of today, including my Christian and Muslim friends think they are wonderful stories, but only stories

The religious impulse is innate within humanity. It can not go away. Even if what we define as faith in spiritual being(s) / the supernatural all but disappears, the religious impulse, or "God impulse" as it is commonly referred to, will always exist. Even Christopher Hitchens confessed that he, a dedicated atheist, had this impulse; he chose to ignore it and suppress it...

Even many atheists take a very religious approach to their atheism (ironically).

Simply I believe in God growing the arena but I additionally suppose in the significant Bang. I am guessing that it was a pretty enormous bang when God made the whole thing you've ever obvious. The Bible does no longer contradict with Science in some ways so that cuts that out. And wishful-thinking well I undoubtedly desire that i'm valued at some thing. The item is i know i'm given that God is real and he loves all. Religion of at the least Christianity will final for an eternity on account that as long as there may be God there shall be Christianity. Bet what. God outlives the arena and time for that matter God Bless JLU

I think it will last for some more centuries and it will take at least another 10.000 years before religion has completely disappeared. But I do believe eventually religion will fade away. We don't need God(s) anymore to explain certain things, like the Greeks and Romans did.

There will always be some people with an infantile need for a greater being, so in that sense there will always be some sort of religion. But organized religion like today? A couple hundred years at most.

Probably a little longer than the Greeks believed in their gods, just gotta wait til science is advanced enough to prove it wrong. Then they shall be added in mythology, and another religion will plague the world until its proven wrong as well

As long as you believe in them.......... Dont know abt a few advanced nations but as long as there are problems in society, a belief in something higher is there to stay.

So my answer would be forever!!!
