What is the sticky stuff to add to sand and cement to stick pebbledash to walls?
The cold weather has played havoc with my outside walls and I'd like to repair them without a builders bill even if I make a slight mess to start with, but I know from sad experience that there must be an adhesive in the cement. I don't know which adhesive?
Some of the render under the pebbledash has also ended up as brown dust on the ground. There's an awful lot I've yet to learn about building repairs. Thank you for your answer, and forgiuve my ignorance please.
I've decided to forget the pebbles and just render and paint. Who knows- the cracks and patches may become part of an artwork! Thanks everyone, very welcome help.

PVA ADHESIVE. I'd put some in the sand and cement mix but I'd also dilute some with water and paint on the area prior to carrying out the repair.

pebble dash is done with ordinary cement render the pebbles are thrown at ir while it is still wet thus
they stick in the render it's a skilled job and not for DIY if the render is deteriating it has to be re done
it will only fall out what ever you do there's no glue thats why it takes a professional to do it i'm not telling you off i am just warning you you will be wasting your time once render has gone it's gone and it sounds like yours has
