What band do you think has the most fun with their songs?

I'll agree with Alestorm. I saw them live and, well for instance they set up a whole bar on the drum kits and they got drunk in between songs. That's awesome!

That's not the best vid to back up what I mean but I've seen them live 4 times and each time it's a laugh. They do a lot of dancing back and forth on stage, the lead singer once came down and joined the mosh pit while trying to sing at the same time. He often brings up pretty girls from stage to dance with too.

Trollfest is another. Their whole band is intertwined with absurd humour. It's really like a party when they are there. They give out shots of booze, dress in daft costumes, let off party popper and balloons...

Not exactly a recent entry, but I have to say Primus. Les writes and plays whatever the hell he wants, without much thought to being radio-friendly. Seriously, how many bands write a song about fishing, and then do two sequel songs to it on subsequent albums? Plus, they have a lot of inside jokes and double entendres with their songs - Wynona's Big Brown Beaver, Shake Hands with Beef, etc.

Nerf Herder also has a bit of fun with their music, but they are almost a novelty-rock band, so that sort of comes with the territory.

I'd say Family Force 5 from the bands I've seen personally. They put on the best show out of any of the bands I listen to. It's like going to an epic dance party. Here's something they put together last year.

Haha thanks for introducing me to Alestorm. That music video was quite entertaining to watch and looked like it was entertaining to make. Folk and power metal bands always seem to have the most fun to me.

I don't think this would qualify as the most fun, but Arkona seemed to be enjoying themselves in the Yarilo video. At least Masha.

Mindless Self Indulgence. They don't take themselves too seriously and their lyrics can be inappropriate but their songs are funny and clever. They're such good performers and always make the crowd go wild, wish more people heard of them

Oasis used to have a lot of fun in their early days back in the 90's when they were young and Liam and Noel were still in love! :)
