Sazziable

I've been going to sacstate since the fall of 2011, with a few semesters off due to not being able to get any classes related to my major (psychology). I have only seen about 10 people walking around who might be into metal. I've seen plenty of metalheads at local shows in Sacramento who are college aged, where are they all hiding?

Is there something about this university that makes people into top 100 music and country? I seem to run into more conservatives than anyone else at this school, or they dress like they are conservatives. Are people afraid to be themselves at this school? I feel like the only metal chick on campus, or that I'm less than 1% of the students who are into metal. Anyone else from Sacramento who can tell me why there are so few metalheads who go to Sacstate?

I can't hide all posts from a page on my newsfeed, I'm using a band page. It will let me hide individual posts, but not all of them. Unliking the page that I want to hide isn't an option, and I cannot find any information on how to do this with a band page.

I've googled it, I've searched facebook help, but this glitch seems to be ignored by everyone who uses a band page.

Because every time someone gives "constructive" criticism on this section, they get a thumbs down. Someone asks an opinion about a subgenre, gets an opinion, then they thumbs down that opinion.

I know that freezing temperatures can make the symptoms worse (due to jaw clenching from cold), but realistically I can't avoid going outside forever. How can I stop myself from clenching my jaw due to freezing temperatures?

I can't take Ibuprofen anymore, due to certain side effects. I have stomach issues so I can't really take any other pain meds without destroying my stomach lining (I have Gastritis). I already wear a night guard. I massage my tendons on my jaw to try to get rid of the muscle knots, but every day it just comes back. My jaw on my left side has been popping daily (like the feeling you get when you pop your knuckles in your wrist). I know it isn't good that it's doing that, but I have no control over it anymore. I don't chew gum, I avoid hard candies, but I can't pass up food if it's chewy though because I'm underweight. It isn't severe enough for surgery (like the surgery would work anyway, since there are no guarantees). I don't have severe TMJ yet, but I want to know what else I can do to prevent it from getting worse.

Without hearing new music? Or new bands?

I only know of Dir en Grey, are there any other brutal Japanese metal bands I should know about?

I can't see a doctor until next week, because I'm switching medical insurance carriers. Plus it's the holidays, and it'd be impossible to get an appointment with my regular doctor about this.

I strained my calf muscles a few nights ago, dancing to electronic music, which includes A LOT of jumping around. Ibuprofen hasn't helped, using a heating pad hasn't helped, and stretching is very very painful. My legs are not bruised (the tendons would bruise if there was a blockage or a tear right?), so it isn't so severe that I can go to emergency (my parents refuse to drive me, because they think they know everything). I rested in bed an entire day yesterday, so I already tried staying off my feet for the majority of the day also. I have acid reflux, so I can't rely on pain medications that upset the stomach. I can't shuffle around forever. What else can I do to help cope with the pain?

p.s. I'm moving in less than 5 days, and I have to pack. I'm in too much pain, so it's very important I figure out something soon.

I just discovered them this week, and they have A LOT of albums. I can only afford to buy one, which one should I get?

To not give up, and to not procrastinate on things to the very last minute?

I have so much stress and anxiety, depression right now. I can't make an appointment for a therapist for about a month, I can't concentrate and have "brain fog" combined with insomnia issues. I need someone to talk to, but I'm not suicidal so I don't think it would be considered an "emergency". I want things to feel normal again, to be able to sleep, it's as if my body as forgotten how to sleep. I need help, I live in California and it's so bureaucratic that it takes too much time for help to be given. Any advice on how to find quick fast help in the meantime?

When it isn't? Everyday it happens at least 4 or 5 times. I click on my avatar to go to my profile page and it says they can't find my account or that "gulp" it could be deleted, but my account isn't deleted, because it works half the time. I'm just wondering if this buggy behavior is happening to anyone else. Is it some kind of a warning like they are going to delete my account in the future? Why does it keep happening?

Another question is, how did you deal with the awkwardness after spoiling the movie for them? That just happened to me earlier, I didn't know my roommates had never seen the trailer.

Because you got a violation for answering it correctly? That just happened today, got a violation email. Wanted to know if it's happened to anyone else.

It's taking ridiculously long to download, I've already tried deleting a few programs and moving a large movie file onto my external harddrive but it didn't help it download faster. I just spent 30$ at the apple store to buy Bioshock, did I just waste my money? Or should I invest in more memory for my mac? I don't have any anti virus software programs running right now, so that's not the issue.

I like one of my roommates, Katelynn she's really nice and a fun person to hang around. It's my other roommate Erica that's been acting bitchy for the past month, she told me I'm passive aggressive when really I haven't been taking anything out on my roommates at all. Not enough to be treated the way I have been treated. I've been going through a lot of personal issues and Erica hasn't been very empathetic about what I'm going through. So do you think I should just start from scratch and find a new dorm to stay in next semester? Or should I just let my bitchy unsympathetic, uncompromising roommate Erica win and have the room all to herself just like she wants?

I have no idea why she's frustrated with me. I've known for about a month that she's been annoyed with me about something, first she started sighing everytime I walked into the room. Then a week later, a minute after I'd talk to her she'd sigh. Now she just brushes off whatever I say, by being overly sarcastic or just by being unempathetic/sympathetic. She acts like everything is okay with my other roommate (who sleeps in the other room), but has been acting like a total biotch towards me (by being overly passive aggressive). What should I do? How can I bring up this issue without making things blow out of proportion?
