Crosby media attention?
Are you as surprised as I am, that we have not been bombarded with daily updates by the media (with no new information) regarding the recovery of Sidney Crosby and whether or not he will be ready for the playoffs ?

It's different because broken jaws usually have a pretty standard recovery time, while concussions can take a week, or sometimes years to fully recover from.
I did hear that he was skating again on friday.
Meerkat: Eaves broke his jaw, and got a concussion, Crosby only broke his jaw, no concussion symptoms. The concussion is what kept Eaves out for that long, not the broken jaw. But yes I agree that higher the severity of the injury, the longer it takes to recover.

Yes. I think it's because he's almost ready and they want to spring him on the opposition.
K-Fleur...depends on the severity of the broken jaw/concussion. Patrick Eaves was out for a whole year.

I agree with most of the above statements. He will be in top shape for the playoffs. Might even get in a rehearsal. Not a fan of Sid but he does have talent.

What K-Fleur said. Breaking of the jaw isn't like a concussion, that can get worse randomly and such.
