Now that conservatives have used a minority to block something 90% of Americans wanted,?

The majority of the Senate voted for the bill. It has the overwhelming support of the American people. Yet it didn't pass. Our system is broken.

System is not broken. Once again it appears people do not understand the function of our Representative Republic. 20 million people in 2 states should not be able to force laws onto 15 million people in 5 states.

We are a nation of states and all states have equal say into the federal law process.

Hopefully that will inspire some moderate conservatives to take on the tea party cons next year!
